I can agree to a comparison with Fire Buckler and Thorn Carapace, but since this card has a -permanent- effect once it kicks in, I can't compare it to Gravity Shield. Blow that up and you're free to pummel. Similarly, you can destroy the other two killing CC shields before they actually do kill your creatures. This one can work its magic at turn 1. That's what makes it so threatening, and I like it. :>

It won't be changed. It will stay the same because it has GREAT synergy with Alfatoxin.
The things people say. *sigh* Good times, good times. B)

Aaaaanyway, this card is now decent and annoying. Just the thing Death needed. No more is Death just a slow and painful demise for your creatures. Now it's sudden and unpredictable, just as it should be!
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

What will happen if an adrenalined creature attacks and dies due to the effect of this shield? Will it keep attacking as Skeleton?

thorn carpace will also in a way keep its effect after its dead, to the creatures that got poisoned anyways.

If they got infected. If the infection kills them. If the infection bothers them at all before you've bludgeoned your foe to death. It doesn't have the same permanent effect by a mile, because it's just too damn slow. In fact, reduce its cost. It's not good enough for 7 :life.

(Mind you, you may note I -did- agree to the comparison. Looking at the difference does not change that or make them eternal rivals that everyone must defend once one of them has been.. not seen as equally menacing.)

I think the chance to convert critters to skeletons is way too huge.
I think the exaggeration on that comment is way too huge.

Seriously speaking the effect is good, but not OP. It's actually quite well balanced if you compare it with Fire Buckler or Gravity Shield. All those 3 make many creatures useless, but they all leave ways open to deal lots of damage with creatures. Only difference is that while FB and GS are absolutely predictable, Skull Buckler has that RNG effect encoded in it. That is the sole reason why it may seem better/worse than what it is depending whether it's used against you or you're using it. See the infamous Dusk/Fog-effect.
None of my played creatures survived the second turn, i call that either a huge chance to die, or an extremely bad luck. The chance is repetitive for each turn, so even 5% is too much. And i suspect this chance is in the tens (20 or 30%).

the chance is 0.5/hp of the creature

To clarify, it's 50%/HP of the creature. Saying "0.5" confused me, and probably a few others, because we saw it as "0.5%," which, when divided by the HP, would give an insanely low chance of death, even on 1/1 creatures. >.<"

Lol, nothing wrong with what you said, since it is technically correct. 0.5 is half of 1, which, as anyone that understands percentages will know, a percent is 1/100th of 1, so 100% = 1, and 50% = 0.5. It's just that, not everyone that sees 0.5 will think of it that way, they will see it as 0.5%, or as something else, so I was just offering a clarification for those that weren't quite up to speed.
