New Card: Carcinogen

I've been testing my suggestions in the trainer and I can almost beat the FG's, but they keep getting lucky.

And the plagues are actually good. Once they have a full side of cells, you play a single graveyard and a plague, and then you'll have a ton of damage on your next turn. That accompanied with two or three vultures = win. It works great in AI3. And ya, you can also just go the poison route and wait for them to die, but that isn't as fun.

OK, check this out: Carcinogen+Adrenaline.

Without Adrenalin, you have:

But apparently a 0-power creature with Adrenaline gets to 'attack' 5 times per turn, because a Cancer Cell with Adrenaline creates 3 new Cancer Cells per time it goes off (meaning it "skips" two turns, for a total of 5 "attacks.)  Which leads to:

So a single dose of Adrenaline saves you 2 turns on filling the field.  Now use that Life quanta to add a Feral Bond, and drop a Graveyard+Plague, and you're dealing a healthy 56 damage/turn and gaining 28 life/turn starting around turn 8 or 9 of the game. 

I aced Incarnate, Gemini, and FQ with this:

I almost beat some False Gods with this card. But unfortunately, Rainbow out-controlled me, and Gemini copied and momentum'd my gigantic Vultures and killed me. Sigh... But yeah, a Dark/Death or Death/Fire deck could probably beat some Gods.

On another note... It might be better to use Mark of Air and Thunderstorms instead of Plagues, because Thunderstorms don't cost much and they kill immediately.

But still, this card is incredibly overpowered. How exactly do you counter it? It's instant kill, and it fills up your slots. Unless you have a couple of Otyughs, Fallen Elves, or Owl's Eye, your space will be filled. Rainbow Godkillers may be able to barely counter Carcinogen, but Mono decks will be absolutely slaughtered.

This card will devastate typical rainbow godkillers. Those decks typically only have 5-6 creatures total.

Just have to be sure to take out the otys and druids and rainbow is helpless.

That's exactly what I mean. This card is way overpowered with no obvious ways to counter. I wouldn't be ranting so much, if not for the fact that I saw the False God Rainbow also has this card in his deck now. We don't need to make Rainbow harder.

Poison decks could counter but it'd be slow. Fire lance and drain life decks could also counter. The mutation spell card+TU would work too, just have several creatures, wait until you have enough quantum to play all your mutations/TU's at once, then play your creatures, wait for them to be changed into cells, then mutate and TU your best one(s).

What happens if you mutate something and it becomes a cell? :-o

I would counter by playing Nightfall/Eclipse :-)

And it might be a good Idea, if a Cancer Cell doesn't create Skeletons when it dies

EDIT: I just tried it in the trainer. Cancer Cell is not affected by Nightfall/Eclipse. Strange as the cancer cell is a death creature?

That is really strange.  I was thinking that Cancer Cell would have really good synergy with Eclipse.  Maybe in the coding, Eclipse/Nightfall actually names every death/dark creature that gets a boost and cancer cell has not been added to that list yet.

cancer cell was made an "other" card so it's now not working with eclipse, as that would've been terribly OP

Maybe cancer cells should die after a few rounds, otherwise this is over powerful.
