few behaviors that need to be mentioned
first off, computer AI NEVER targets the cells. will not devour, lobo, rewind...pretty much anything. you should never fear getting the Malignant Cells started unless its maybe octane or morte. (disclaimer on pvp)
when attacking, random number generator decides what order the creature slots attack/use automatic abilities. example -
2 creature spots open, one cell in slot 1, spot 2 empty. attack phase (spacebar)
possibilities, 1-2 or 2-1
if 1-2, deals 2 damage (first cell attacks, spawns second cell, second cell attacks)
if 2-1, deals 1 damage (second empty spot does nothing, first cell attacks, spawns second cell)
if lots of cells spawn during one turn, can add extra damage or nothing, depending on luck. new cells may survive buckler or not, depending on luck
aflatoxin adds +2 poison damage to previous poison damage and "aflatoxin death effect" (aka purple skull circle)
if a cell gets mutated, new creature also gains "aflatoxin death effect". the mutated creature is not poisoned. upon mutant death, spawns new 1/1 infest cell on same spot
aflatoxined creature with quint does not keep quint. original creature destroyed and spawns new 1/1 infest cell on same spot
aflatoxin on a growth creature is silly unless you stop the growth
computer AI will antimatter its own cells. this one...im speechless. THANKS DREAMCATCHER, YA NOOB
-edit- AI does firestorm cells. no specific reason, it just does.
plague and rain of fire are your bane, unstable gas too if you dont have a reflect shield up
