mr Blonde-jmdt deck is indeed a nice starting point, but it's not the best.
I can't post exactly all the decks i've gone trough, yet i have detailed stat about most of the variations.

Considering that longsword costs half of arsenic, and does almost the same damage, i prefer it, but sometimes arsenic is better because poison remains even after the weapon is destroyed, or much more probable when a phase shield arrives.
Poison is the most effective card in terms of reliability;can't be destroyed as mummies and spiders, and damage goes trough shields.
Dragons usually comes in to play after spiders or mummies, at turn 5.
They hit trough wings, and resist soft CC better, but they die to fire lances and maxwell demons.
Nymphs are much tougher, can't be paradoxed, aren't so dangerous when copied, are cheaper and have a soft CC attached.
