I'll merge this with SG's vault topic once that one's done, in the meantime I want 12 decks that make up most of our vault.
Here's some ideas I already had, note that I want 5 stalls, 4 denials and 3 rushes in our vault.
+1 Stall -1 Rush since Darkness is already the element of denial, don't expect to be denied much (except discord, obviously).

Please give feedback on these decks and post good ideas of your own(!) :)

This is SnoWeb's Bad Memory-Haunted by your past (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,22588.0.html) deck.

Although this is upgraded, I think that it's still valuable unupgraded, and with a few things moved around to make it fit the 50% rule, it should still work alright.

Reasons for thinking this is a good deck:
-Holy light CC, as it is now, doesn't effect this deck.
-Nightmare against fractal decks (Possibly Fire/Life/Aether/Any others). Now, even though the healing isn't that high, it heals.
Rewinds: As seen from the last war, graboids were a large part of the war. Rewinds should make other teams hesitant to evolve their graboids, saving our life for the possibility of winning before they blitz.

Reasons for why this might not be ideal:
Use of Time: Once the time element is gone, besides the daggers and possibly some nightmares, this deck doesn't actively fit in with others. (Rewinds may come in handy though).
Limited offence- Upgraded, GoTP has 9 attack. Unupgraded, it has 7. This might not be a huge issue, but its still less attack.
Unupgraded delay- Due to being unupgraded, this deck can suffer from not being able to get GoTP+Nightmare combo out as quickly as others. 
GoTP- Having alot of these in your hand at the startup isn't ideal.

Ah yes, I believe Mithcairion also mentioned a similar idea, and since I definetly want to add rewinds in our vault for flying weapons/acceleration, I most definetly want an unupgraded Darkness variant of this deck in our vault :) (now just to figure out how the best unupgraded Darkness variant looks like : P)

I was thinking about this for GoTP/Nightmare.

Enough pends that drawing a few first 1-2 turns usually isn't a problem.
It might need something to do with all that extra dark quanta.

some ideas on decks and cards...
first general thoughts we must  avoid to have too many decks that are 50% black and 50% smthing else, because they often become useless when we lose a game with em and w ecan't really afford that.  Which also means we should have 1-2 mono darkness.  Believe me, this pays in the long run so we don't end up using suicide decks in later rounds.

Last war was won by discords so expect to see a ton of em in war 3.  We got steal to counter this and devourers to help.. we must include steals in as many deck as possible unless quanta really ain't an issue (grabbow).  The grabbow we have really waste some quanta but I guess we can't do much better, except I'm one of the only who like parasite in a grabbow deck especially since we play dark and we don't use any death quanta.


Over the last month though, the card that is in almost every deck is sanctuary so once again we must expect a ton of em and to counter this we got .. well steal again!  I for one really like the sanctuary deck/stall deck but I doubt having 2 nymphs in it is such a good idea cause I doubt many people have 2 white nymphs (I don't even have 1).  We should even have 2 sanctuary decks since this card is so much OP.  and it would allow us to tweak em a bit if needed during war.

We also need thoughts on what you guys would do with 6 or 3 upped cards, we may give you a special deck just for you two.

Oh and I'm surprised I din't see yet a version of gravity pull/bb on voodoo deck yet.  It's such a pain to play those. 

And would a fire/darkness deck would be a good idea to have steal + deflag and drain life + fire bolt possibilities?  These were major cards too.

Miraclestall from Wizcat definetly has potential, maybe (-2 Pends) +2 LS though.

As for mono Darkness and Sanctuary decks, hand me a deck and convince me why it's good :)
I'm afraid Jay's deck rarely works since people like me don't have Light Nymphs :(

Any deck in which could be countered by sanc should have at least some steals, can't use nightmare at all if they drop one

But I'd still like to make the case for the modified lockbow.

So far, it's run 49-1 against AI3. That one loss was due to a bad draw combined with neurotoxin (And it was real close too).

Once it gets going, it's hard to stop. Burrowed devs take the quanta needed to fuel dragons, plus the towers help once you've knocked them down to 0 quanta.

And a change, if any would be -1 dusk +1 dark pend/tower. Barely used it, quanta was better spent towards sending out another dev or waiting for a dragon.

I've been experimenting with the idea of Black Dragon + Liquid Shadow + Parallel Universe. Ignore the previous version of it above, it's pretty bad. This is my current build:

The main strategy is simple: Build up quanta until you have enough to play a Black Dragon, play Liquid Shadow on it, and then use Parallel Universes on it. You get multiple hard-hitters that also heal you for large amounts of health.

What I like about the deck deck is how the strategy can be adjusted, depending on the opponent. Use the Liquid Shadows as CC, especially on pesky Otyughs. Drop all of your dragons and Parallel Universes on one turn for a surprise kill, evading Miracle. Play Parallel Universes on enemy creatures that are particularly powerful and then use Liquid Shadow on your version(s).

The deck's main weakness is CC. Variations might include Cloaks as defense for the dragons or Steals for Shields like Dimensional Shield.
The dogs of war are nothing compared to the cats.
