Obviously, last round didn't go well.

Next round our vault will have 149 cards as it currently looks like: meaning 4 players with 4 decks. If someone is unavailable/doesn't want to play a match in any round from now let me know: it's more useful not to be included in matchups in such a case than to get subbed and risk not getting any possible salvage.

I also want to hear some detailed opinions about what "course" we want our decks to go in the following rounds.
  • Same course. I try to paste back together the lost decks from salvage + remnants of other decks. Currently that'd mean Siphonary (should be possible with new Sanctuary salvage), Grabow, PU/LS Dragons and Devtal/EQ Devs.
  • Try weird decks like no team will ever see them coming. Although "less effective overall" and even more painful to lose (extreme loss of versatility) its surprise value may catch teams off guard. Example:
    Spoiler for example:
We tear apart the ability to use Grabow and EQ Devs or Devtal, paste it together with some Ghostmare remnants and end up with a deck like this:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
    Deck import code : [Select]
    4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 593 593 593 593 5on 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 61q 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7tb 8pm
  • Other. If you have a splendid idea that will make us 4-0 until we are forced to go 5-0 for having a bigger vault: let me know.

I will post my thoughts here.
1. Get rid of Scout and Strategist role. Then, whoever can (and want to) play can take the 4 remaining roles: General (definitely still TorB), Lieutenant, Assassin, and Salvager. In case of Salvager, if anyone wanted to take over my role, then i'll let them play.
2. Play defensively. We've lost so many cards, we can't afford to lose more.
3. Or just play it chaotic. Make unexpected decks. Mix them all. Let the opponent be surprised. Use weird decks like no other. (preferable)

If you don't have fun during War, then you're doing it wrong. So let's just confuse them all.
And soon, we will be known as Team Entropy Darkness because we confuse them all next round.

a) Send scout and strat to support, being the least useful flavored roles (not people, but roles)
b) Strong decks are usually preferable to weird strange decks that may work. That surprise value can only last so long, and it's probably better to stick with strong decks than try to come up with specific counters. Also if they lose, we don't have a chance to try and piece together anything. Although at this point we're slightly desperate to it may be time to break out the sillyfaces.

Basically, if anyone thinks we might actually have a chance at surviving using 1-2 nice strong decks, we should go with that. If we think we're just kind of desperate atm, be silly :P
Years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no hope, no cash, and no jobs.

Weird decks it is! Just noticed it's also on the safer side since we'd otherwise be forced to convert/discard tons of in-element cards (while weird decks can have moar Darkness).
