Grabby's might be the solution.  Provided I can get things hammered down before I have to deal with miracle.

Tested this out a bit.  I don't see anything to steal in most of their decks.  Dropped the steals for a pillar, garg, and nymph.  Freeze in for the forest spirit we don't have.  Hopefully enough CC to slow the Phoenixes, but not so much that offense suffers in case I am looking at Miracle Deckout.  Side note... Liquid Shadow from the Nymph on Gargoyles is a joy to behold.

Just want to warn you I used a rainbow graboid last Round against Light, this time, they might be prepared. I really needed my Steal there (couldn't draw it when I could have used it though >_<) because of the off-element Arsenic, and you might need it for an off element thingy as well.

maybe +1 steal just to be safe though i doubt they will pack anything worth stealing or can even be stolen

Yeah, that top deck looks fine, I'll test it.

If I was fighting Malduk like 9270984 is, I'd take a look at the deck he beat me with first round.  Fast, loaded with cheap spells and poison.  If I was doing it (wasn't available first round), I'd run a grabby rainbow with some purify's thrown in.

Then again... he might not want to go with the same deck twice, just for that reason.  Hard to say.

hi loki,
i am not so sure about the 2 immolations, i am sure those can be replaced by something more useful...
having just 2 and not having cheap creatures to sacrifice on the first turns (i would never sacrifice a devourer) i think the speed boost it's not much significant.

-2 immolation
+1 black dragon
+1 drain life
i think you'll have plenty of darkness quanta in mid game

we probably not gonna take any immos so better try swap them for something else...like guy_f suggestion perhaps
(i'd go for +1 pendulum, +1 drain life)

i'll be in chat if anyone wants to test the decks

i don't know kobi...
we actually need someone to collect round 2 water decks and put them in the "fighting water" topic, i don't know what they have been using.
(if someone wants to do it, take and example from "fighting fire, aether or time" topic)

for what i've seen they use stall decks or creatures with a good amount of HP so i don't know if your deck can deal enough damage in time... the damage output is just 5 gargoyles (you cant make them big) and owl's eye...

i'm just basing on the theory that they wont try using stall tactic OR high quanta usage like fractal dragons against us (we have so many different denial tactic, EQ, discord, fractal dev) and expect something like a poison rush with chrysaora or just water rush deck with toadfishes and squid for cc (since we're lacking in CC ourselves)
i might add a nightfall and a dragon though or scrap devourers altogether and add 5 minor vamps

I'm leaning towards using Graboid Rainbow again, probalby -1 Reflective Shield +1 Freeze.  I'll be online tonight if anyone is up for testing.

now that i cant use 5 holy lights OR golden dragons i think im scrapping that idea. my only idea is a fractal deck with nightfall so i can rush the devourers. im hesitant with this though because torb talked about using one.
