fair enough, we've got 2 fire fights this time around, if the rainbow is desired for those, I'll use the other deck.

Also, some food for thought: I don't know if the chaos seeds are in the deck because they can be chaospower upped for Kuro and Kael... but I've been using chaospower in a pvp deck on flying stillettos and it absolutely rocks. I suppose it would work on vamps too...

plastiqe has a better chance of winning his match so its better for him if he wants to use rainbow grabs
as for myself, i'll be using something entirely different

Do we get our propaganda cards during this deckbuilding phase?  If so we've got 3 copies of Rainbow Grabs.

we should finalize everything and by everything i mean salvaging/discarding before moving on to making decks
no point making decks if its not official

Sorry about the late response.

I've been trying to figure out the best options to fight Air with, but considering the amount of cards they have in their disposal, it's going to be incredibly difficult to try to counter them with what we have. Since they're facing Light twice (as well as Darkness), I'm willing to be they're going to have more cards in their decks against Light to prevent deck-out situations (Since Light has easy access to Miracles). Against Fire, they might avoid using shields and Discords to prevent them from being destroyed, EXCEPT for their Morning Glory flying weapon deck:

Code: [Select]
5la 5lh 5lh 5lh 5lh 5lh 5li 5of 5og 5og 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5ol 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu
Adding a reflective shield (from them) would probably means they would counter most of Fire's CC/PC strategies, all the while doing major damage with Swords, the Dragon, and having a back-up plan, while preventing Fire Stall.

The one thing I -did- notice though was that they don't seem to be carrying as many pillars to spread out their quanta (I counted 101 Air Pendulums in their decks, and only 6 Air Pillars (they also had a few gravity/aether pillars on the side), which means that Earthquake might be our best bet against them, so I'm going to take a Earth-Darkness duo (again), focused on denial rather than defense, and hope for the best.

3D, since you're facing Klaymore (who used a Fractal deck last round), it's up to you on whether you want to take another Earth denial or if you'd prefer something else against him. Istari.'s Hope/FFQ deck was technically ruined by Guy-Fawkes nymph deck, but in either case, I'm going to pack a deck with 31-32 cards just to make sure that they don't try to pull some ridiculous stall deck on us.

probably i might go with the deck used by 9#### in his matchup against TIME (double reverse psycology)

Code: [Select]
5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5uo 5up 5up 5ur 606 606 606 606 606 606 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 621 621 621 621

^good choice imo

i'd go with +1 pillar/steal/stilt, -1 dragon though

and if we win, we could go for a THIRD time just to spite them

So whats the final word on rainbow usage? To be clear, so that my deck gets submitted, unless someone else needs it, I will go with

I was planning on using the earthquake deck against Air, just because it seemed the safest to use against them unless they busted out an Early Eagle's Eye/Shockwaves/Holy Light. We can have two Earthquake decks out, but I don't think I should use Rainbow against Air, just because of what they could use against the creatures (Air has a lot of CC).

Animated Eagles are a hassle - but I'm planning that they will use those, since they're probably afraid of dealing with Steal (they won't bother with shields like Wings since Gargoyle, Vampire, and our Dragon can punch through). If you take the first Earthquake deck, mind if I take the 'other', as we have 12 earthquakes in our vault?
