I am at Vancouver, WA, just north of PDX and about 2.5 hours from you. Lots of elements players in the NW apparently. I have a couple good friends who live up in Seattle. One is a prosecutor and one works for Kenworth as an EE. Keep going North and my sister lives in Vancouver, BC.
