...today (Round 8) was our final battle. We are no longer part of this War, but perhaps next time...

That said, I'm really glad I was able to fight alongside all of you guys during this War. :) It's interesting how some people can click and synergize so well (despite some of the unfortunate circumstances we had to deal with, ranging from an awkward start to that nasty Round 4), and regardless of what teams we might be on in the next war, I wish you all well, and thanks again for the tough fight. *^.^*

A few other small tibits:

9270984  - First off... wow. For a rookie, you really became a part of these forums. I hope you'll stick around, especially with all these cool kids around...  8)

3D/Realbeef - Your hard work won't go unnoticed, but I think that next time, we should get a potato in here to balance all that hardcore beef. :P

Lokiburn4 - Just wanted to say another thank you for joining our team when vrt had due to unfavorable circumstances. We were sweating crazy if we couldn't find another member in time. ^^;

guy_fawkes - Your ign is heavily misleading compared to your chat name... keep it that way. ;)

plastiqe - Do you still have that 'Dawkness' avatar by chance? :D If not, it's okay, but I think that sparked up a lot of jokes during that one round, heh. <3

kobisjeruk - Thanks again for all your hard vault calculating skills - luckily, we never incurred a penalty accidentally (fielding an illegal deck or not having the right cards). Just make sure you stay out of those controversial topics so you won't get muted, okay? ^^;

...and our Master.

Kael, I just wanted to say how sorry I am to have really been that bittersweet 'sidekick' - helping you was great... but doing forum work can only get you so far in the War. Even with my upgraded cards, I have to admit that my PvP skills are still terrible (hooray for lowest win:lose ratio ever), and for that, I really do need to improve in that section to be a decent elements player.

Team Curator and Team Darkness all the way folks. Let our shadows always be overlapping. ;)

As sad as it is to lose a war, we can all learn from how we lost and improve ourselves next time. It's been an honour to have been on such a great team, and would gladly fight in the next war to once again, fight for my favorite element.

I hope to see you all in trials, there's no fun in winning without resistance ;)

Special thanks to Kael, for the outrageous bid on me in the auction :)

When we were winning it was a lot of fun but sadly this is the end.  Thanks for having me on Team Darkness, I couldn't ask for better teammates.

I have to agree with everything said above.  It was a real pleasure playing with you guys.  The amount of work that everyone put in, in discussion, testing, and the impromptu tinychat strategy sessions was huge.  The work that was done managing the vault alone was amazing.

Kael put in a staggering amount of work, and I was glad to be picked for his team.  He picked a team that managed to get through the entire war, penalty-free (one sub all war?), participate in the forums and chats, and stay quite active.  Everyone participated with a maturity that is hard to find in any online, let alone gaming, community.  Almost every day in the elements chat, there would be at least 4 Team Darkness players representing.

...and if having team members on the "watched" or "muted" list indicates a raging passion for elements, then we were clearly the most passionate team in the war.   ;)

Well done everyone.  I feel a little closer to everyone on the team after this experience.  If you're ever in Portland, OR, I'll buy you a drink.

First, i had a great time with war and you guys helped me learn SO much about the game and forums.

Kael Hate, you are a great master and a good leader. I will always appreciate you.

Kuroaitou, i probably did the most deck testing with you, and you were always willing to help me.

Kobisjeruk, while the deck you made for me against MrBlonde did not win, it came very, very close and probably would have won if rematches were legal. That deck was way better than any deck i could have ever made for that round.

Plastiqe, while i didnt get to know you as well as some, having a winning war veteran on my team was nice. I will always remember that devourer =/= pillar.

TheonlyrealBeef, when i saw you were on my team i was like, "OMG i have a guy from T50 on my team." It was cool to have someone that experienced on my team.

Guy_Fawkes, I didnt get to know you very well, but what i do know is that we have an insane nymph pattern going on between us.

Lokiburn4, while you came in late, my most notable memory of you was probably you winning the quartet tourney. That was my first tourney and im glad you got the win.

3D House of Beef, when i saw that you were on my team i was like, "OMG i have TWO people from t50 on my team." while you did have to take some of the worse decks later in the war, you did a great job helping in the begining.

Thank you all for helping me grow so much as a player and a forum member, i will never forget how much you guys helped me.
