Well, Discord was a part of the deck, so I'm very glad we had that part of the deck set up. In the end, though, it was our fear of EQ that hurt us. There were no EQs anywhere to be seen, and as a result, our prep for them was for naught. Also, the fact that I had nary a Sanc in either game REALLY hurt. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with all one quanta source (pends) and increased the number of Sanctuaries in order to not only ensure that they get drawn, but also to increase the healing.
For what it's worth, though, the RNG did minorly screw me over since I saw only one Sanctuary, and that was the final turn of the first game. Overall the deck is good, but not versatile enough to have taken against an element that can do so much as well as

can.
Edit: One thing I wanted to mention is that they did bring 3 Maxwell's Demons against us rather than Abominations. I believe this is due to our power creatures being Gargoyles and Dragons, both of which are vulnerable to the Demon. We will have to wait until future rounds to see if this always holds, but it is something to watch going forward.
