Crucial to anyone that seeks to improve her/himself, we will evaluate each round to see why we won blablabla (plain luck or well foreseen?) or lost each duel. If someone feels like guiding this, do tell. Otherwise I'll give it my best shot.

Since no round has passed yet, only thing we can evaluate at the moment is last war. Personally, I think the decks had too much in common: we lacked counters against certain cards (or specifically, decks that use them). Discord was a good example, so we need to make sure we can withstand it this time. If anyone feels like anything remains uncountered at any time, do tell. As ridiculous as it may seem, it could potentially lead to our downfall if we won't counter it.

The way I want to build the vault is based on the idea of versatility, so I sincerely hope it turns out well this war.

:darkness TheonlyrealBeef vs RavingRabbid :water

Basically, it was luck here.
RR had about as many creatures I could lobotomize (which goes at the cost of my offense with voodolleration), and I basically won by luck. Battles were really close, I expected Sanctuary and Ice Bolt, but didn't get to face it at all. I believe RR isn't as fond about Sanctuaries as I thought he might've been.
If RR indeed appears to have no Sanctuaries, we should pack some (read A LOT >:D) denial next time.

me vs  :gravity Malebolgia

Basically, I won because of the opponent is not well versed with GotP (like I was :P). There's lot of mistakes made by Malebolgia - discarding at least 2 GoTP in both matches and didn't try to play strategically. I was expecting a few BH in the deck, so I try to be careful with my quanta in both matches. On top of that, with fog shield that didn't really go to his favour, it gave me the win in the 2nd match.

me vs timerclock  :earth
What went wrong... as much testing as we did with this deck, we (well at least I) never expected an Immo rush deck.  So the lock becomes useless baring a great draw.  Idk if we could have tweked this deck in case they went Immo or nova, but we should have thought of the possibility.

Me vs Wavedash :life

I saw all the upped creatures, and I was pretty scared. :light/ :life duo.  Upped frogs, upped leaf dragons, all for the sole purpose of getting out small, cheap creatures. Scorps were in there too, and were the ones adrened. LS definitely helped, I managed to stop a adrened scorp 1st game, and LSed my dragon 2nd game to keep up my HP.

They predicted devtal/pestal, and would have won if that was the case. Simple loss due to a bad prediction of life's, and my Dimension shields.

 :entropy BatCountry vs.  :darkness Mitcairion

Well, Discord was a part of the deck, so I'm very glad we had that part of the deck set up.  In the end, though, it was our fear of EQ that hurt us.  There were no EQs anywhere to be seen, and as a result, our prep for them was for naught.  Also, the fact that I had nary a Sanc in either game REALLY hurt.  If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with all one quanta source (pends) and increased the number of Sanctuaries in order to not only ensure that they get drawn, but also to increase the healing.

For what it's worth, though, the RNG did minorly screw me over since I saw only one Sanctuary, and that was the final turn of the first game.  Overall the deck is good, but not versatile enough to have taken against an element that can do so much as well as :entropy can.

Edit:  One thing I wanted to mention is that they did bring 3 Maxwell's Demons against us rather than Abominations.  I believe this is due to our power creatures being Gargoyles and Dragons, both of which are vulnerable to the Demon.  We will have to wait until future rounds to see if this always holds, but it is something to watch going forward.

Round 2

Me (Voodolleration) vs   :light Hrmmm (Light/Earth stall with EQ)

Just got beat down, plain and simple. Never really had a chance, even in the desync game.

This was a case of being so close to having the right deck.  While we tested vs. their decks, we (I) tested vs. Plague, not Pandemonium, which was a strategy fail on my part.  If I had 4 or 5 Quints instead of 2, it probably would have been a different game.  As it was, game 1 went about as well as a game could go considering the deck matchups.  In game 2, I simply didn't get any of my Aether cards (neither Quints nor Dim Shields) until I had 14 poison on me, so all I could do was too little, too late.

rd 2, me vs  :aether
What went WELL  :D  ...
I took a big look to all the decks we might face just prior the game to start, so at 1st turn, I was already pretty sure he used the same Phoenix deck and I've played like it was it... ANd I was 99% spot on since they only added a holy light.    It will be intersisting in the end of the round 2 to see how many teams used the same decks as in round 1.  This deck needs to wait to be effective, unless desperate, do not put any vampire in play until u can put 2-3 under a cloak and adren as many as you can!
