I like Torb's salvage idea.

Clear cut, and nets us a plus. Not much we could salvage from some decks, so what we have can do.

Mith posted something about just going with one quanta source, so that could take up 5/6 of the discards for his deck.
Discarding Light Pillars and Pends while converting Solar Shields? Would net us more Dark pends, but wouldn't want to recklessly destroy the deck.
Converting solar shields? I thought he meant just going strictly with dark pends for quanta.

I don't know, Mith might want to clear this up himself ^_^
After all, Solar Shields is basically just a source of quanta.

Yeah, but it was just that case. If there had been EQ, it would have been good.

Round 2, decks ideas will soon follow:

Nice table, my suggested salvage/discard/conversion (can be changed depending on decks we intend to build, but discard is low enough to not really be bothered by it):

Theonlyrealbeef: +6 Poison
Wizardcat: -6 Dark Pendulum
Mithcairion: -6 Dark Pendulum
Onizuka: +6 Horned Frog
suxerz: +5 Nova +1 Lightning
Jaymanfu: +3 Arsenic +3 Poison
Malignant: +6 Sanctuary
mrpaper: -5 Nova -1 Lightning

Conversion: -6 Horned Frog, -6 Sanctuary, -9 Poison, + 21 Dark Pendulum

Netto: +9 Darkness Pendulum (of which all 9 have already been sacrificed for upgrades), +3 Arsenic (2 Arsenics per Lockbow allow for more consistent damage, and we could potentially build two lockbows).

I might be dissappointed by the outcome, but I'm certainly not dissappointed in any of you. Great work so far, I hope the new information on opponents' vaults can bring more victory in future rounds. War is really starting now, and losses will be serious.

Be sure to tell me if you'd like to see certain details change
2 Arsenics per lockbow actually makes the deck less effective, as the true power of it is denying your opponent creatures while you destroy his quanta.  If anything, 2 Lightnings per lockbow would actually be more effective than 2 Arsenics, as the Shockwave could be replaced with a Lightning.

:water - I believe we should have some pillars there replacing some of the pends. If water decided to use water stall with sanctuary, the pillars might be the critical source of :darkness.

Since we don't have any pillar left (actually, we're short of 1 pillar), it might be better to convert the 21 cards to more pillars than pends.

edit: more thoughts..

:entropy - The deck works quite well vs various deck including mono with an exception of discord/BH. However, the problem that I sometime had is getting out enough damage after successfully lock the opponent. And while waiting for the more damage, a single creature/discord slowly lower my health. I can recover if I have LS in hand. So, replacing 1 dragon with gargoyle seems be helping me in these cases.

This is a deck that I have begun testing vs. Water and it has shown it can not only beat both their stall and their poison rush, but dominate both.

Obviously, we're running into a problem of not having enough dragons to fuel all of our decks, but I did want to at least throw this out there as viable.  I haven't tried this vs. their Waterbow, but my first thought is that it should hold it's own, with Steals for their Tridents and LS to recover HP from them or lobo annoying creatures.

As always, I welcome people's thoughts and comments.

If we get countered, we get countered. Do Pillars really make the win percentage against the sanctuary stall over 50%? If not, I don't know if it's worth the risk of getting Earthquake later. Did you test to see how 5 Pillars 6 Pends work in that deck? :)

-1 Black Dragon +1 Gargoyle shouldn't be a problem for that deck, we currently have enough Gargoyles spare (I think). But doesn't that only decrease damage? (unless of course, you don't get enough :darkness and are just stuck with a Dragon in your hand for a lot of turns)

I don't see how that deck could work, it seems to severly lack :darkness quanta :(
Maybe 6 Pillars 7 Pends?

Looks like we should then convert the stuff not to 21 Dark Pendulums, but 12 Obsidian Pillars and 9 Dark Pendulums.
