? By damage does that mean a reduction in dolls hp?  i.e. potion of rage? doll loses 5 hp and gains 5 attack with a reduction in hp would that trasnlate to 5 damage to opponent?
If so  :o  8)  ;D  This will be evil cool!
Exactly. This will synergize very nicely with Rage Potion.

Sorry I don't have the time to read all 11 pages so I will just say this.

Won't cremation have 0 affect on the opponents HP since you are not doing damage and simply destroying the creature?

Counter to +hp on voodoo: Armagio with gravity pull. Even though armagio has 25 HP, it will block all of the damage (only works if there is one voodoo doll.)

Armagio doesn't work like that, Gravity Pull only redirects monster attacks.

The other fun thing about this card is that crowd control effects currently used in game (Basilisk's Blood and Rewind) are just as equally detrimental to use on a Voodoo Doll compared to direct damage spells (Rain of Fire, Lightning, Shockwave, etc.). Rewind can allow the player to play the doll again and deal potentially more damage if it wasn't killed the previous round, while Basilisk's Blood improves the amount of damage it can take (and thus, be devastating in a Basilisk's Blood + TU + Cremation combo).

I really, REALLY like this card now. :) assassim's version didn't quite sit so well with me, since it affected creatures, but affecting the opponent directly is quite a fun twist, and I can't wait to see it implemented.  :)

I don't get why people keep posting in this thread saying that immolation/cremation doesn't do any damage. Of course it does damage: it burns the creature to such an extent that not even ashes are left behind. While sacrifice in some CCGs means "remove from play entirely", and in others means "send to the graveyard", the fact that the card is called immolation/cremation and that it triggers death effects is a pretty strong hint that it's intended to be an "animal sacrifice" rather than a figurative sacrifice. How are you meant to kill something without damaging it?

I'm not sure exactly what term would be used if a card didn't want to cause damage when removing something from play; maybe "banish", "neutralize", or "forfeit".
