I wonder if this would work well in CC? why bother? use it on a cell to help speed up their progress and slow down the FG by a turn. That deck didnt use any darkness (unless you use LS or bloodsucker) and its only one cost anyway.. when i get some time Ill try it in the trainer...

...or some nice person could too  :))

So long story short:
1. May affect combo decks relying on a set being played all at once; although, each turn you can get rid of 1 junk card, so it isn't too bad. (normal play hourglass/precog/sundials not affected)
2. Will cripple fractal.
3. General AI abuse.
4. At best, will limit a non-rainbow FG to 1 draw/turn.

Might be fun with a deck that focuses on death effects.
Seems amusing.  I like it a lot more than a card that would cause discarding, such as the dune scorpion.

Elements is not turning into other card games. It is becoming more balanced. The PvP metagame is super small right now, but with cards like this it will grow tremendously.
I don't like this idea of balance, 'tis all.
If it is balanced, then it is fun.
I just don't quite see how a dune scorpion and nightmare combo can be balanced.

I don't see any point of this "combo", fill your opponents' hand with junk, then help to discard those junk?
it's actually not a combo

exactly

nightmare and reverse time would be a more potent combo as far as annoyance.

I´ve just got an idea.
There are two new cards, that target your opponents hand. Dune Scorpion, as it forces your opponent to discard, and now this, that fills your opponents hand with a creature YOU choose.
Now imagine, there would be a creature that triggers it´s effect by the time you discard it!
That would be an crazy combo!
how about a card (ex):

0/1 when your opponent discard a card this take +1/+1   ??
thats a good idea but do you mean the creature you used this card on will be getting the buff only
He is talking about a creature with that ability, not a buff.
my bad,but i think that it should be able to do that everytime they discard one of those cards the target creature should get a buff

we need this

First you discard them all, then fill with junk.

Any different between empty hand and full of junk?

i mean something like a passive ability

I really dislike this card and dune scorpion. In my opinion, for elements, the "safe zone" was your hand. It's where you would keep things that you didn't want to put in danger. But now, with all these messing up your opponent's hand, I think that elements is just turning into the other card games... :(
If anything, people using the hand as a "safe zone" is precisely why cards like that are being implemented.  There should never be a case where any card is 100% safe from anything.

Oh snap!  Now that's a combo (and I wouldn't just call it an annoyance)!  Just like Flying Weapon destroying a weapon if the player's field is full, Reverse Time on a powerful creature right after you fill his hand.  Turns a slightly annoying card into the Elements version of Dark Banishing (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?printed=true&multiverseid=83046), an effect which Elements has yet to use in spell form (a few creatures sure, but not a spell).
