A few different possibilities. You can use it on a card he opponent has no quanta of to clog his hand, or use it on a flying weapon. You could also combine it with dune scorpion. Pretty cool card :)

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This is going to be awesome.  A perfect anti-mono-control card.  Playing Fire Stall?  Have 6 copies of Cockatrice and a nice day. :)

As Freyr (aka Unholy Spirit) noted in this thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,10609.0.html), it also prevents your opponent from drawing next turn.  :)

I like the art, too.

Nice. This card is like the opposite of fractal.

won't see much usage, but would be fun

really only useful against drawing decks, and decks that hold onto cards, or fractual decks

nice art btw

maybe it would be good if a card did damage based on cards in the hand.

you can always draw a card and then discard a useless card, so this card is pretty much only effective vs fractual decks
oh and maybe the lack of drawing a card, otherwise almost useless

I´ve just got an idea.
There are two new cards, that target your opponents hand. Dune Scorpion, as it forces your opponent to discard, and now this, that fills your opponents hand with a creature YOU choose.
Now imagine, there would be a creature that triggers it´s effect by the time you discard it!
That would be an crazy combo!

Easy FG strategy...
Fill the FGs hand with photons
they play the photons
their field is now full of photons
play a shield :)
GG?

You run the risk of not drawing this card, not drawing a shield or decking out but interesting idea.

Freyr's deck that I linked to above is a clever way of abusing the AI, filling his hand with Ball Lightnings and then triggering various Death cards off of their demises.   This will also become fun when we get some creaures that have downsides in exchange for decent stats.

Might also be good to give the opponent some strong creatures if you're playing a Purple Nymph deck.

how about a card (ex):

0/1 when your opponent discard a card this take +1/+1   ??
