Its skill needs to be only used once like lycanthrope or Werewolf.

If it was used more then once it would have a crap load of hp.

Alright, Zanz has clarified that the ability isn't repeatable.

well but as xinef already said it has some advatages and (what i think) ab etter connection to darknes armagigo with his poor 1 attack if you use 4rage potions armagigo is a  21/5
gargoyle can be a 26/3 and earth gots some more defense higher cards like (basilik blood)
and alot of people thing that the effect tdoesn^t fits to the card but thats not true other creatures cant take the basillic blood so easy so they get stunned(statis) cous eof it
but since its a  gargoyle it already has the basilic blood understood---

When I first saw the card name in the thread (before opening it) I thought, "Neat. Finally, we get an 'Other' element creature," one that uses random quantum rather than a single element, but then I opened it up and was quickly disappointed.

Then I saw the effect and the fact that it doesn't go into stasis, and that the effect could be used once, and read a few posts about Gravity Pulling it. That, honestly, is pointless. If you're planning on using Gravity Pull on this, just use Amagio.

The real advantage I see with this card is the fact that it has a synergy with Earth, so it can be used alongside Pest/Quicksand denial decks as a strong attacker, as it will gain a boost from Eclipse as well (7/24 beatstick, anyone?). The ability to use it with Liquid Shadow is also a great idea, though Liquid Shadow with the dragons is already pretty darn good.

I haven't read all the posts (only the first two pages. I'm lazy), so if someone has already said this, sorry for repeating. It's a nice creature, but wholely unremarkable. Just another middle-class creature like Abomination, Graviton Mercenary, and Hematite Golem.

As I've said before, this card does not fit the theme of Darkness at all. It fits better as an Earth creature.

But I suppose it can be used as a mid-range vanilla attacker, since Darkness lacks those at the moment. And I've got a feeling that the upgrade of this card will have 7 ATK, but I might be wrong.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I want to keep it in Dark. I'm excited to use  :darkness :fire with an  :earth mark. Double the permanent control (including protection), double the bolt attacking (Siphon, Fire Bolt), double the creature control, while playing denial?!

I only wish to see what's in store for the upgraded version and what's in development other than the two cards, because this card looks deceivingly good.

New to the game, so I have nothing to contribute to the design/balance of the card. The art raised enough of a red flag that I wanted to comment on it.

I don't see anything in the Art forum specifically forbidding imitating copyrighted artwork, but the fact that I was immediately able to identify the piece it was copied from doesn't seem right. Maybe it's an acceptable practice, I don't know, just wanted to point it out after seeing no mention of it in six pages of discussion.

Interesting.

Yes, that art is way too similar to be an accident. Zanz, or whoever made it, probably used the MtG card as a rough model. Legally it's not a problem because it's not even close to being a copyright infringement, but it does kind of take the uniqueness out of the card.

I personally don't care about that but I understand why someone would.

Zanz has used mock art on several cards before they went live. I'd assume this is just another.
