I really don't get how this is going to be so game changing (like fractal). It seems to be a good filler though.

Who said it would be game changing?  Its a solid Darkness card, and something Darkness needed IMO.

Yeah, if every card were a game-changer, the game would be way too chaotic for Zanz to release new updates as often as he does.  We just happened to get quite a few in the last batch -- Fractal, Phoenix, Pharaoh, Hope -- but then how much have Mummy or Shockwave actually changed the game?

Filler has it's place, especially filler with good combo potential like this one.

Considering the fact that it hasn't really updated since its posted, its either due for an update or getting ready to go live.  As it is, I'm leaning towards the second; its a good card ATM.

There has been no beta testing of this card at all. There's really nothing to discuss until zanz makes Gargoyle available in the trainer or beta.

Plus the only thing we know is it's unupgraded form which isn't very significant in terms of real eventual discussion.

Zanz made another patch specifically for the weekly tournaments. That is most likely the reason of the delay.

After thinking about it more, Ive decided I realized what this game is missing. FILLER CARDS. This fits that perfectly.

Think about other card games. Over half the cards could be taken out because they have no variety of all. They are filler cards, but they arent complained about not having enough cards because of that.

You can usually find about 30 cards that have almost the exact same health and attack, and then the same amount that have the same effect. Now im not saying bog the game down by cards like that, but i think it would be nice to instead of seeing horned frog rushes, seeing rushes of another life card that has the exact stats, but is a butterfly or something like that.

So basically, I like the gargoyle BECAUSE it doesnt really add much at all to the game.
