Well, the synergy is in the devour effects of the Scarabs that RTing the Mummy ultimately generates with the Boneyards/Walls of Death. I will admit Earth/Darkness gets more out of it than Time/Death did, because there was already existing synergies that worked well.

Yes, like Blood said, the upgrade could very likely have 7 attack, since +3/+3 is around what vanilla creatures usually get for upgrades (Not dragons ofc)
+3/+3, really? Horned Frog only gets +2/+0, Cockatrice gets +1/+1, Graviton Mercenary gets no bonus, Hematite Golem gets +2/+3, Flesh & Phase Spiders get +3/+0. The only creature in Elements that gets +3/+3 upon upgrade is Blue Crawler, from 3|3 to 6|6, and it used to not be that way (Abyss Crawler was 5|5 in all versions prior to 1.21). So I would hardly say that +3/+3 is a typical upgrade for a vanilla creature. I could see the upgrade with 7 attack, though. It seems reasonable.
Yeah, I failed there. I was actually only looking at the Abyss Crawler when I said that before I went over to my calling bed, but I did consider the +1 cost it gets when you upgrade it, which basically pays for the 3rd +1/+1. With that in mind, I can now say that on average vanilla creatures will get around +2/+2, with +0/+2=+1/+0. Also, adding cost generally gives about +1/+1.

That too, was just speculation.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Gargoyle is now available in the trainer.

Yes, I did not have much time and I used (copied) the proportions of a gargoyle's picture I found online, the picture can be changed later - I already have vrt's version saved in my HD. Was it MtG? Darn, those guys are everywhere!

This is a common card and it was not meant to be something spectacularly game-breaking, still future cards might rely heavily on creatures' HP's making this card more strategically interesting.

Well, well... The upgraded Gargoyle is 7/3. It's pretty awesome now; with Eclipse, it's 9/24!!!

But again, this shows the severe strength gap between regular and upgraded cards. 6/24 VS 9/24...
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

It's called incentive. If the upgraded version is a tiny bit better, there's no reason to upgrade it. Because the upgraded version is much better, people will want to upgrade it. That's how these things work.

Clear your cache and try again. It's there. Also, make sure you are trying the trainer and not beta.

excuse me, i don't get it so much.. isn't gargoyle 5/3 with only 5 of quantum +0/+20 a little bit too powerful? (in the picture it isn't upgraded too..)
it's true that armagio is 2/30, but i usually don't take armagio down 'cause killing it tooks too much (when it's possibile..)..
(the same goes for colossal dragon.. )
but armagio has only 2 in attack.. (with the same quantum cost) and colossal dragon quantum cost is high.
Honestly you can think of the gargoyle as death's 1 quanta more "mummy". They both are 5/3 unupped and both have other abilities that need different quanta. Like mentioned before this just increases the synergy with earth. With burrowed devourers and 5/23 gargoyles an unupped mono-darkness deck with earth mark doesn't seem so bad. I just wish mummy had this kind of synergy with death/time.
Lol imagine someone had Gargoyle at like 5|19063

Odd, I'm using the trainer and fighting T50, and someone's using a Gargoyle against me.  Did it hit the beta or something while I wasn't paying attention?

All AI-controlled decks in the trainer have the new cards added to them for testing purposes. The player does not have them on his/her live account.

Well, the synergy is in the devour effects of the Scarabs that RTing the Mummy ultimately generates with the Boneyards/Walls of Death. I will admit Earth/Darkness gets more out of it than Time/Death did, because there was already existing synergies that worked well.
Unfortunately for death the synergy doesn't work because of the three different quantas needed to make it work. Hopefully something in the future will get implemented (something that generates gravity quanta perhaps) so that mummy's/pharaohs would be a viable duo-death deck.

And i think the upgrade to 7/3 is fine as well. Gargoyle is basically just an incentive to splash earth in your deck. Without earth it's just like other mid-range hitters in other decks with a little more cost.

Gargoyle
5/3, 5 :darkness - Mummy 5/3, 4 :death
7/3, 5 :darkness - Phase Recluse 7/2, 4 :aether
