What is your favorite Darkness card?

Pests!!!!!
I've never seen Devourers/Pests used in a match where the opponent didn't automatically reply, "I hate those stupid Pests..."

Gotta be steal... You can trade 3/2 quanta for a card that prob cost 2-3 times that while at the same time messing with your opponents strategy.

im the only liquid darkness? awwww come on.... its probably the best healer in all of darkness. it IS the essence that is darkness. it saps your foe of its life while doing the same to you(in a way) how could someone NOT like the basics of any element

LS is a great card, pretty great control on a spell, while also giving it great possibilities for play on your own creatures.

If i had to choose, it would've been devourers, they totally screw with inexperienced opponents who don't stock well on mana. Darkness is quite a versatile and cunning element to use. When combined with elements like fire and darkness. Man, its a killer combo. :darkness :D

vampire dagger, deffinitely. not the best one though..

Probably Minor Vampire, I use it as the key piece in most of my decks.
Steal, though, gets my vote.

Devourers/Pest and Steal.
If I can get a few Devoureres/Pest on the starting hand, you are almost sure to win if the other dosen't use rainbow =D

I voted for steal/pest/nymph. Steal is a master piece of permanent control in most rainbow decks, pests are just plain awesome quanta denial, I chose nymph just because you can never have too many nymphs.

I would've voted for steal as well as pest but didn't realise you could vote for more than one.

the devourer was my favorite before 1.21, but now even more. with butterfly effect you still have his drain effect plus a good ability, and discord (also entropy) also works fine with it.

Yes. Steal/pest is perhaps the best denial combo in the game.
And the nymph is a parasite/lobotimizer that grants vampire ability. Great for offensive AND defensive purposes. Love that little lady!

Pest: Can stall even false Gods if you manage to cast fractal on time
(Hahaha that was a joke) Still it is a very strong card. Rain of fire and owl's eye an't make instant kill, plus you GAIN QUANTUM!!!
Steal:
The most annoying card.
Nerve breaking.
Worse than Miracle imo.
Whatever can be trageted, is potentialy mine for 4 darkness quantum/ 3 upgraded.
Vampire:
Deals 4 damage, you gain 4 life.... and then comes Fractal....

I love Steal. One of the most fun to play, and one of the most awful to have played against you.

Nightfall/ Eclipse by far.
Used with devourer and dragon, (Sadly, I picked Vampire Stileto/dagger over devourerer)
The dragon does even more with more defense, and the devourer no longer has to be burrowed to stay alive and do damage.( Statisticaly speaking, not just HP wise)

Steal/Devourer/Siphon Life
Because i like to steal things because :
1.thats block the opponent.
2.Thats generally incrase your deck for the battle.
And siphon life and not vampire* because you can target your opponent or a creature with this.(it's a skill)
*except in darkness/life deck because is powerfull with adrenaline.

Gotta love the Devourers. Since mine are unupped, thats all I have. Pests seem to survive better, can't wait til I get the cash to up em. They really piss my friends off in PvP Duels since i keep eating their quanta!

Well, duh, thats why Aether pillars + Fractal rock. Too bad there isn't space in my monodark for it ;(

This is why you take out 10-15 cards, leaving Pillars, Devourers, and a few key cards (Eclipse, Drain Life, Vampire), and then add Aether Pillars and Fractals.

I dont hate darkness that much lol, to be honest, i would vote for liquid shadow, its the card that create most synergy and not plain boring
Seriously, look at the master battle, the level of fractal devour deck, how boring is that :)

:aether :darkness is too powerful, so that if one of use doesn't use that combo, that person would be at a severe disadvantage.

I expected steal to get most votes due to its ever-presence in anti-fg rainbow decks as many other card sections with high voters being in those decks (or at least they used to, glad devourer is still near top though due to its original and quite cool ability.

Where's the love for Vampire Stilleto/Dagger?
I mean, a 8/12 point damage swing for 1/2 quanta? Ridiculously cheap healing. Far better than Vampire/Minor Vampire on a 1 to 1 basis. Frequently included in speed rainbows, often decisive.

You can only get 1 dagger out though where you can have 6 vampires or if we're using extra cards you can have 23 vampires out and 6 daggers out overall.

Vamp Dagger, cheap and effective.

Together they drain your opponent helpless, quanta and hp alike.

Easily Black Dragon. Sure, it's has a high quanta cost but it's strong and has reasonable health. Sadly, the health is not high enough to survive Lightning, which really messes up my strategies.

Devourer for obvious reasons, total awesomeness, quanta generation and denial.
Liquid shadow, because it's a unique element of one of my favorite decks (Liquid antimatter)
And last but not least: Nightmare, I noticed hardly anyone else voting for this card. It's not as bad as it seems when used right, and I like the surprise effect. I agree it's not the best card out there but I like the underdogs!
Steal just pisses me off so badly it didn't make it into my top 3...

Devourers for not only draining enemy quanta, but giving it to the owner. Steal for being the best permanent control in the entire game in my opinion. Voodoo for being a key card for coming up with complex, non-direct strategies. ::)

Devourer, of course. I remember when I was playing against AI3 and he mutated one of my creature to be Devourer that gave me advantage so I could win for sure.

Voodoo doll, hands down.
Lots of strategies, and will be even stronger when/if Acceleration/Overdrive is completely released.
After that pest and dusk mantle. Very fun to use, but not as fun to the target.

Steal is probably one of the best cards in the game, IMO. I even splash for it in mono-ish Aether :P

drain life. once you build up your guanta supply with devourers you can kill pretty much any of your opponents creatures (or your opponent) and gain life in the process. win-win

I chose eclipse cloak and the nymph becuse i enjoy the power up of eclipse i enjoy the secreatcy of cloak i also enjoy the abillity to make my mosters have the vampire abillity!

Darkness is one of my favourite elements; it has quite a few cool cards. I voted for Steal, Nightmare, and Vampire Stiletto. Steal is just awesome, enough said. Nightmare is a quality card, and can pack quite a lot of damage+healing into a card that is very cheap to play, plus it disrupts the opponent's hand. Vampire Stiletto is another one I like because it's so cheap to play; the decks I use this most often in are ones powered by Nova or Cremation, rather than darkness decks.

:darkness this is a hard question, i really like the most of these cards. but id have to say i use cloak more than any of them. it gives me a few turns to find my pro-artifacts, it draws out one of thier destroy or steal cards, before they can even target what they want. if i mutation, or shard a fate egg, they dont know what they are up against. and its supprise when cloak goes away. i just really like this card.

Pests - who doesn't love a free non-pillar source of quanta? Surely not me :D Pest wisely used can be one of most come-in-handy cards of Darkness element.
Dusk Mantle - khem, khem...-coughs- So here I wanted to say 'thank you' to Dusk Mantle for saving my neck from a certain defeat. Dusk Mantle, I am truly grateful.
Steal - Hah! This one is one of my favs of all cards. I always love to steal opponent's weapon and the pillar to have quanta for fueling it. Defeating opponent with his own weapon - isn't it a sweet way for winning ;)?

Drain Life/Siphon Life, gotta love that spell when your darkness quanta reaches 75! And that's easy to do with Devourer/Pest!

- Pests because they are a great source of dark quanta and are also able to deny your opponent quanta. Upgrading makes them more likely to survive certain damaging spells if they aren't already burrowed. Plus, they can survive longer if the opponent has damaging shields.
- Steal is a great way to turn a match around. For example, stealing Sanctuaries allows your pests to use their passive, stealing pillars/pendulums early in a match if the opponent didn't draw many, stealing shields etc.
- Vampires are a nice source of damage/life point source, damaging the opponent whilst also healing for the amount of damage the vampire did.

mines nightmare works with my death cards really well causing my vulture to grow stronger with a little help from virus and boneyard

This was a tough decision.. I ended up picking Cloak. I love that card. Its the purest darkness card in the game

Steal - cheap PC. Your opponent loses one, you gain one.
Vampire dagger - extremely cheap, does good damage, and heals you.
Gargoyle - Pretty good attacker.

dusk, because it has saved me from a crazy amount of rush decks
steal, with this card, you don't need to use other elements in your deck :P
and LS, I just find it to be a very useful and versatile card

devourer/Pest would be my favorite, the ability to drain quanta from your opponent while replenishing your own stock is devastating if timed right, and a fractalled swarm of these critters are truly devastating.

Vampire stiletto/dagger of course. Very cheap, you can play it quickly, and that 4-6 damage-heal can save some matches. Devourers and Pests are good too to annoy people in PvP but I'd rather attack then make a strategy... :P :darkness :darkness

The :darkness mark is a good element: There is a lot of steal-life but it need more creature with high attack
