Yeah, it gets really annoying when someone runs a duo deck, relying on the mark to give them say +1 :earth for golems. suddenly it all falls apart because that 1 :earth you gain every turn is quickly sucked up. You eventually end up with 40 unused :fire

Could always suggest this in the 'nerf this card' section?

Although considering one of my primary decks I use is darkness with pests, is it in my best interests? lol

These decks are very good against decks like pdials who rely on a small amount of quanta, they are also good at spnging fire sotrm and 1 thunder storm which makes them very effective, even better when burrowed :D

I love this card, synergizes well with :earth and is one of the few quanta denial cards. And unlike BH, it drains quanta every turn!

This card's drain shouldn't be have an effect if the target has dimshields up. If they physically cannot hit, how would they drain? It doesn't make sense from a flavor standpoint, and is plain infuriating in any FG deck that needs dimshields.

As far as I remember, its attack doesn't necessarily hit in order to be able to drain quanta. Really, this card is the card I hate the most in this game, even more than Dimensional Shield.

I LOVE this card. It provides a source for death quantum as well as a denial strategy for your opponent. I usually use it in a death/earth/aether combo.

using fractal on these things is hilarious.
i tested out a devourer, fractal and emapthic bond (just got a  :life mark) deck and i got this hilarious result  :P (http://www.screenshotdumpster.com/view/m7Gbd57018/funny_devourer)
i did 88 damage with one drain life :P
(click on the image to see it larger)

LOL! That sounds amazing! So much health - and you get nothing! Now just add an eclipse for damage! And there's absolutely nothing your opponent can do to stop you!

Once did a SoP trident denial, so fun XD, best of it was the drain lifes, wich kept me alive many times; devourers reached 80 dmg in a 40 card deck
