Make your pick for the best duo with darkness. You have up to 4 choices.

Darkness/Death: Parasite can kill your opponents creatures. Nightfall makes your own creatures stronger. Oh, and Graveyard + Eclipse equals a 4/3 skeleton every time a creature dies? Yes Please! :darkness :death for Power!
Darkness/Earth: The ability to burrow, and effetively make your devourers invincible while they drain your opponents quanta, plus earthquakes to destroy your opponents quanta production. Gargogyles can also be made powerful. :darkness :earth for Denial!
Darkness/ Aether: Fractalled Devourers (Fractal always seems to get on these lists doesn't it?). Mass quanta denial. Mass quanta gain. And with an eclipse, you can even get 2 damage from each of these little pests! :darkness :aether for Irritation!
Darkness/Entropy: Lyncanthropes, 3 quanta for 6 damage unupped, and 2 for 6 upped. Whats worse than making enemies heal you with antimatter? Making them hurt themselves as well with Vampire ability. :darkness :entropy for Humiliation!

Yeah, i wonder why no more people voted for this. BH is the ultimate weapon against rainbows, pest is the ultimate drainer vs. monos. Together they can drain almost any opponent dry :)

:aether :darkness is a fun deck especially now that nightmare is out. Fractal vampires and when their hand is running low fill it with dragons they can't use.

personally i just love the randomness of voodoo + pand combo for :darkness+ :entropy=random win or lose fun to play either way

I use a :darkness+ :fire deck using voodoos and rage potions and it works really well may not be the best but it is good and i will eventualy make it perfect :D

I don't always use duo darkness decks, but when I do, I choose Earth :P
The reason is:
I usually preferred darkness mono, but then I found a good synergy if you added a couple earthquakes to it =P it helped a lot. Complete quanta control. Kill the pillars, devourers to absorb quanta, and then there is no real need for healing, and it's better to just go straight for the win rather than healing because it's much faster. That's why you pick obsidian dragons over vampires :) and add some steals for permanent control(maybe even for more pillar massacre!)
Welll I just explained my deck, but who cares =P that's the reason I like earth in a duo with darkness best =P I don't really make duo darkness decks with any other elements though >_>

3 - :darkness + :entropy part 1 = Lycans, liquid mattering and eventually one or two discords to slow your foe down
4 - :darkness + :entropy part 2 = voodoo dolls + pandemonium: watch as his creatures get screwed while your dolls reflect back every damage they take and gain some nasty effects; you can power them as well with chaos power (and if their health drops it's damage to your opponent)
5 - :darkness + :gravity = Gravity pull your voodoo dolls and throw back whatever damage they take to your opponent
6 - :darkness + :time = Ghostmare ftw
7 - :darkness + :death = already said. parasites + eclipse + bone wall = invincible + huge creature cc
7 - :darkness + :fire = deal 5 damage every time you rage potion a doll, as well as powering it up
8 - :darkness + :life = adrenaline + vampires = big heals

10 - :darkness + :water = flooding + nymph's tears = your opponent is limited to 5 creatures that you constantly poison (LS) to death thanks to your dark nymph summoning; you can also LS your own voodoo dolls reflecting the poison to your opponent (and eventually gain a 2x vampiric damage with eclipse)
11 - :darkness + :air = constant vampire dagger animating + doubling the heal income from said animated daggers via Sky Blitz = outheal almost any damage you take (not sure if animated weapons are airborne, but still animated daggers + vampires make a huge heal)
There are so much ways to use darkness I can't really pick a choice
P.S.: Said order is just random, it doesn't say if a deck is better than another.

I find ghostmare and vader sader better than voodoo dolls + pandemonium or liquid antimatter.

:darkness + :gravity, i like to use accelerates, and gravity pull on them. of course, after they get sufficient power, vampire them.
:darkness + :earth, other than the obvious combo synergy here, and the great shield to use. indium warden and basilisk blood will stall thier weapon, when you target the voodoo doll with it. a fun way to say stop it.
:darkness + :life adrenaline on pests steal 2 quantum, vampires, mitosis, its all around just good. cloak can help the life creatures out. there are just alot of combinations of these 2 colors i have found that really work well.
:darkness + :time, other than the obvious. time control mixed with dark control cover just about everything. also you can vampire a scarab and as long as you make a new one every turn, it will never die from the poison. (i also use this scarab trick with accelerate.).
and i did pick 2 other options, but dont feal the need to example them here.
:darkness :electrum arcacia i like your list, good job on that. pretty much covers all the basic ideas.

I use darkness in combination with time and it works very well!! Reverse time + Electrum Hourglass. Draw more cards, and RT those pesky creatures if the enemy smuggles enough quanta from your devourers :P

I'm not sure if I've already posted in this thread (but apparently I voted already, and my opinion now is the same as then) but I like darkness comboed with entropy. There's the obvious Lycanthrope thing, there's antimatter/liquid shadow, you get steal, which is better than butterfly effect for permanent control, and you get a better shield in dusk, and a choice between two excellent weapons. Between the two elements, you have a lot of variation in creatures, from the super cheap lycanthrope to lifegaining vampires to gargoyle.
If I can ever get some darkness nymphs to go with my four (!) entropy nymphs, I'll -really- start having some fun... :)

:darkness :light deck would compose of vampire sillettos, vampires, and crusaaders, with pendulems and pillars. Dusk mantel and solar shield are recommended, as a Miracle is too. Equip vampire silletto, get crusader, crusader endows weapon, you got a humanoid vampire army with minor vampires.

The best I made is my vampire/adrenaline deck ; I have a short and long version with this one.
My rush deck (life mark) included (unupgraded) :
1 thorn shield
2 empathic bonds
6 adrenaline
2 steal
1 nightfall
6 minor vampires
1 vampire stiletto
11 dark pendulums
The long version of the deck includes 2 more steal, 6 devourers, quits 4 pendulums, and one more nightfall. This one helps me to beat the half-bloods and it's best one I could make with darkness

They made be a bit overused,
but I prefer a classy :darkness + :time ghostmare combo!
or a sudden :darkness + :death nightmare/deathstalker combo!

You want quanta? Aww, too bad, drained it all. You want life? Drained that too. You want a weapon? A shield? Nah, I took those. You want monsters? Buddy, I poisoned all your monsters, thanks for the skeletons though.

:darkness+ :aether: Fractal... Aether's just good for everything.
:darkness+ :gravity Devour+Black Hole = Where'd my quanta go? Vampire + Momentum=unstoppable healing. Voodoo+Gravity pull = my shield does dmg to you(although this really need basilisk blood to be effective).
:darkness+ :light not really that powerful, but I like the symmetry :)

I have a light/ dark duo and it's wonderful. I mostly use light spells with darkness creatures, such as adding blessing to vampire.

For that you would need 3 cards (the creature, and the LS and purify)
It's a great idea, don't get me wrong. But waiting for the 3 cards will probably not be worth it. You may as well stick to vampires/eclipse (also, eclipse affects darkness AND death creatures).

:entropy lets you buff your lycanthropes into being good cheap units for damage. That solves a big problem of :darkness - a lack of damage.
:aether Gives you immunity and damage that can't be stopped - even by a fire deck. The attack is weaker, but unstoppable.
:life with its life bonds - the more creatures you have, the more power you have. :darkness Has lots of cheap creatures.

Earthquake goes well with Steal and Pest
Basilisk Blood goes well with Voodoo Doll
SoV goes well with Protect Artifact, and it makes for a badass golem
Gargoyle and Pest both have active skills that cost earth

After testing out serval decks from devour vamp immortals to nymph and dragons i must say that the best two combos i have found with darkness are either :death :aether. the only problem with a darkness based deck and i only use dark decks earth and gravity are still able to some how get past my vampires and devours while using burrow plus gravity pull to avoid taking a large amount of damage.
