I just killed DM with a completely unupgraded poison rush deck. Probably I got lucky, but if I could kill him without upgrades, maybe upgraded it will have a decent win ratio. the deck was:

1 arsenic
5 freeze
2 plague
6 poison
6 chrysaora
10 bone pyllars
mark of water

I would think a simple mono aether deck would work, even upgraded, as long as you were able to get some lobotomizers in it to stop momentum and the gravity nymph. Having some shards of gratitude would also help.

life rush is great but so many things can go wrong against DM, i hope you're not misleading people into doing it even if you have solid proof that it can be done because that would be misleading (and probably a fluke)

i'm not gonna list the reason(s) why using life rush vs DM is bad because i think anyone with any kind of smart can figure it out themselves

I've tried a mono-aether deck in trainer against DM, but there are quite a few downsides:
- Titan cannot be stopped, so you need some healing
- Chargers can only be dealt with after their damage
- Extra pillars/towers always welcome to get past the draining

So you probably need SoGs to heal you (at least 2 in the field), Phase Shields to protect damage, and Lightnings/Lobotomizer against Grav Nymphs and Chargers. And then you still have to do some damage yourself >.< (good thing Aether has immaterial crits to protect from Otyugh)

My only concern with Mono Aether is that if lobo is not pulled off quickly then you could set yourself up for a serious beating.  Black Hole also causes quantum denial issues early on which could risk decking out in the future.  I can't find a good way to counter this guy either though.
