Actually he spams Black Holes. In one game he was playing more black holes than where needed to get rid of my quanta and continued to play them even if I have only 4 quanta total.
As long as he is playing them stupidly I can live with this god. What's annoying is the amount of the "ultra rare" nymphs he has in his deck. Your only chance with a rainbow deck is to play an Otyugh before he gets the first Nymph out.

Guys posting decks that "can" beat him is totally useless. This god is specifically designed to counter rainbow decks. Any duo deck that can beat him will lose 80% of the times against other gods. In the real game the only viable option in a grinding session is skip him/try to beat him with a rainbow. Or design a duo/trio deck which has the same winning perc of a rainbow against ALL the FGs.
The oracle tells you what false god you are up against... So if you enjoy clicking lots and lots, you can change your deck to an Aether/Entropy one (such as Ivalmian) if Dark Matter is the False God you are going to fight next.

This guy is now pretty much on my instant flee list, along with Rainbow, Scorpio, Hermes, Graviton, Divine Glory and Seism.

2 fights, 2 easy wins (even in a row) with a rainbow deck. Can't really see the difficulty...

I beat him first try with my current deck.  He didn't use any nymphs for a while, and he wasted his first two black holes on small quanta amounts, but it's certainly not impossible to win with a rainbow.

I beat him with elemental mastery. Once you get past his Black holes, he has nothing. Make sure you have a bunch of Otys/ Untharids/ Mind Flayers and you win. Lobo his creatures: nymphs, then angels, then momentumed creatures. Pack more than 1 RoF and maybe a plague (i had an upped one from somewhere). I had three miracles in that deck, I used one right after i got onto my feet, because he can get you pretty low in the hp. Shards can help in the early stages because they cost barely anything and heal for a fair amount.

Even if I don't think I can win, I usually play to the end. It's either a fast loss, so I don't waste time, or I win. I run a rainbow, fewer shields than most and 3 FFQs instead of one. It can cope with any FG, just have to have a bit of luck.

UHH, guys I don't know how, i just played a straight game with that god and beat him. I got an oty out early so i could eat the Amber nymphs. Once you get past those black holes, he only has creatures that do 7 damge. Arch angels and Elite charger.

The main thing i think I did was wait to have creatures. Once you have enough Super novas, use them. The same turn, use as much of that quanta as possible.

Every once in awhile, I can get lucky and beat Dark Matter.  Just a matter of getting the right cards early (super novas, towers, hourglasses) and Dark Matter not firing off a Black Hole every turn.  Hopefully DM, will blow several at the start, then go dry for a few rounds.

Do Emerald/Jade shield and Reflective/Mirror shield work against Black Holes?  I haven't tried it, but it seems like they should.

If so, I'm thinking they might be a good way to survive Dark Matter for a Rainbow deck.  At least, assuming he doesn't get a Nymph out for very long.

Don't think they reflect BHs. And, a rainbow is not hopeless against DM. If you've got a way to hold him off at least until he use up all his BHs, you're the winner
