Would Sanctuary and Silence Work?

Wouldn't the new cards, Sanctuary and Silence, be helpful against Dark Matter? I've tried them in a couple of ways and can't quite get it to work, but I'm still a total noob at deck building.

Yes. A Sanctuary would stop her Black Holes and Nymphs dead. Silences wouldn't do much though.

Both have some pretty cool uses against various FGs; Sanctuary can help against Hecate's Nightmare and Dream Catcher's Discord (if you can keep it from being destroyed).  Silence - and Nightmare as well - can work wonders against FGs that like to spam fast draws, like Rainbow and Lionheart.

Silence also helps to forbid a miracle.
