This + Precognition. I don't like his hand...deny!

This would be an insane way to deny with a OTK deck!

I assume that natural laws of Elements means that they would only draw one of the cards back...That being said I think the card has an ok cost. Maybe a little higher, like 9 | 7.

They don't draw any new cards to replace it? Ok. Looks about as annoying as Black Hole is when using a rainbow.

Imagine going second against the following starting hand: 3 Air Pendulums (Upped) + 1 Mind Gale + 2 Earthquakes + Earth mark.

Bringing back up; I've submitted this for the crucible, and I'd like some comments and ideas. This, and 7 other card ideas.

And he doesn't draw any  cards? Looks insane in SoBr decks

My complaint here is that Air already has a notorious OTK of its own. That's too much of 'tempo control' if you ask me.

This isn't a card you can just splash in. You'd need to build your deck for its use. And this card won't win games all on its own; it does no damage and increases the size of your opponent's deck.

Is this a bit cheap for the card advantage it creates? (especially played early game)

Two earthquakes played early-game can similarly throw the game. I don't see the problem.

Earthquake is 2 cards advantage and this is 6. Earthquake costs 3|2, this costs 8|6. This card is roughly 3 times the cost of earthquake for roughly 3 times the card advantage. Cards do not scale evenly with cost though as bigger creatures and effects are simply more efficient in the long term. This, however, is counterbalanced by the fact that your opponent is normally rewarded for playing as many of their cards as possible. In the case of Earthquake, this means they are constantly trying to maximize your potential advantage, whereas in Wind Sweep's case they're aiming to minimize it just through normal play.

TL;DR - Wind Sweep is a little bit OP under perfect conditions but will quickly become UP as the game progresses and is next to useless in multiples. It is fair, probably on the weak side, and could likely benefit from a single quanta cost reduction but, due to its potential annoyance factor, might be better off staying as is.

Good argument. You have convinced me that it is close enough.

Hmmm... I've played with scattering wind in openEtG, that card replaces the hand with a new set of cards... sort of like an auto mulligan. Then it lets the caster draw a card for a cantrip like effect.

Overall, that card is certainly in no danger of being OP. However, it can be quite a useful card both as an annoyance / delay tactic and as a hand refresher.

I'm not such a huge fan of this variant. At least not in air. It seems to be stepping on time's toes a little too much. I would also miss the versatility of being able to use it to switch out cards in my own hand for new ones.
