ART: Treldon's amazing piece of art.. it's just.. I don't even know. Hugs and kisses~ IDEA: AD Storm Bolt NOTES: Targeting would act normally, but if there are creatures on either side of the target, they're also dealt damage. EDIT: Craters are only graphical effects, not actual cards (so not like Ash or Malignant Cell). Craters stay for the entire game and will simply act as a creature when you play a creature, so if it's in slot one, then the next creature will be played in slot two. SERIES: Filling in the Gaps

There are 23 creature slots, you aren't restricting much...

Only 18 slots can be blocked with six of these, essentially making this another Flooding.

The idea isn't meant to restrict the creatures they can play on its own, it's meant to:

1. Give Gravity some hard CC that doesn't require their creature(s) to not attack the opponent a turn
2. Synergize with Water's Flooding to severely limit the creatures they can send out, which opens a new Gravity/Water synergy (which ATM, I can't think of anything prominent.. Acceleration+SoPa?)
3. Random other things that I have yet to think of

Just because you're in the air doesn't mean you can't get hit by a giant flying rock.

I'd like to see you try and fly an airplane during a meteor shower.

For #2 there is Swallow. Beyond that probably not much.

Together with Flooding it could be a strong combo. But since Flooding is hardly used, and Meteorite alone might not be that useful, a combo of the two probably would not be used much more often either.

But I have been wrong before...

Meteorite is sort of a half-fire storm, hitting ~50% of their creatures until they hit 8 and always the ones you want. Fire storm doesn't see much play but that's mostly because of the high cost in an element with plenty of other CC. This card would not be game changing, I feel, but it would likely be cheap enough and fill enough of a void to see play.

Not if creatures aren't packed that tight

If we look only at the middle row and call the slots 1 2 3 4 5 6 7, creatures are played to 4, then 2, then 6, then 3, 5, 1 and 7. Because of this order, the card will hit 1 creature if 1-3 are in play (half-ish), up to 3 creatures (2, 3, 4) if 4 are in play and the same amount with more options if the number is greater. So, ok, my initial proposition was a bit off but basically, it will never kill everything unless they have only 1 creature or have lost them in other ways but will still be a major board wipe at times. Interestingly, your 3rd creature is your safest the majority of the time.
