The base DR's would add up, yes. But not the DR from creatures with light
No, they would not, because the same type does not stack. See notes in OP.
What happens with multiple hopes? Do the DRs add up?
Hardly worth it. Why not Hope+Diamond then?
Neither add up because DR does not stack. At best, Diamond Shield would gain immortality, and Mirror Shield would be a cheaper combo anyway. Kirby has addressed the "same type does not stack"
FIVE times. This is not hard.
As to this:
I'll like two things to be discussed for balancing purposes:
- Should shields that are already "durabilitied" be allowed to be "durabilitied" again? (In other words, can I use this card on the same shield twice?)
- Should the cost be lowered? Right now, I'm leaning towards a -1 cost.
I think shields that have already been durabilitied should be able to be durabilitied again, due to the difficulty of using 3+ shields effectively in a deck, and the fact that only a certain number of effects can stack anyway. I also support -1 cost, mostly due to the above. I think this card should be splashable in some decks.
