This card needs balancing to be sure, but I'm not quite certain about how I should tweak it.

I'm also a bit concerned about how Deceiver could theoretically interact with Flooding / Inundation.

Any ideas?

It's...so wordy...and therefore, so inelegant..
In addition, the advantage from upgrading it is way too much.

I think the upped version is a bit OP if you look at the unupped one:
Costs: -3
stats: +1/+1
skill cost: -1
Maybe that's to much.

I agree that the text needs refining and the difference between the two versions is too much...

How should/could I re-word the description? Do you think it'd be okay to leave the passive ability
off the card text?

To narrow the difference between the two cards, should the normal one be improved or should I
just nerf the upp'ed version down instead? Perhaps a little of both?

I'm not sure if it's exactly what anyone had in mind, but I've adjusted the cards in response
to what's been said so far.

The card text has been greatly simplified and the stats between the two versions are more similar
than they were.

I have decided not to worry about the effects of flooding when using this card.
Yes it'll provide an instant kill to enemy creatures, but it'll also require a combination of 2 different cards
and a fair amount of three different types of quanta, so I don't think it'll be game-breaking.

Seriously? Someone makes a card that CAN make Flood SITUATIONALLY useful with three types of quanta and someone cries about it? *throws arms up*
