...Meh.
What about dropping the cost or increasing the damage and changing the effect to "Whenever a new[no copies already on the field] creature enters play..." To have synergy with TU, Mitosis, and Fractal?

Hmm, I thought about that but it jumped my mind. Would probably be way too underpowered.

That said, I should probably change it to only affect enemy creatures, or only non-darkness creatures.

Edit: Changed, and non-stackable.

I like it less now. It's straightforward and has the same exact usage as fire shield and thunderstorm.

I personally think it is OP. I mean a quick one of these and a pa is almost a garunteed deckout win. Not to mention it gives the stalling potential for SoV to be effective. Maybe a timer combined with a lower cost?

Or maybe if the opponent was allowed to play a single creature, then the effect kicks in?

The timer could work quite well, without the destroy effect.

Q: Does generated (mitosis, firefly queen, pharaoh) count as "played"? Or does "played" only pertain to creature cards played from hand?

Triggered effects are cool. Example:

"When a player plays a 'new' creature, their creatures gain +1/+0. Opponent's creatures lose -1/-0."

Curious card. Was the naming it after yourself an unintended bonus, or planned?
I think this card won't happen, because an early game use after placing a cheap creature like a photon would garuntee victory.

But you wouldn't be able to play anything other than a photon too.

I like this card, and if my assumption of it affecting both players is correct, it is balanced.
