If you have 7 in slots 1-7 they will give no bonus. If you shockwave the one in slot 1 then they will form 2 chains each getting bonuses from the creatures not part of their chain.

Got it. Thats essentially what I was getting at... I really like this card now. It will take a lot of skill and planning to use well, but the results could be well worth the effort.
