to summarize:
fractal + deathstalker + eclipse = 3 elements, 3 cards, 2x poison per scorpion
fractal + dune scorpions + wisdom/power = 2x elements, 3 cards, 1x poison per scorpion, +1 poison per card played
dune scorpions + momentum = 2x elements, 2 cards, 1x poison per scorpion, +1 poison per card played, ignores shields
fractal + forest scorpion = 2x elements, 2 cards, 1x poison per scorpion

I don't see any as being clearly the 'best' option.

"That just reminded me of something. :time and :aether are opposed elements. Why should they have a buff that affects both?"

A better question is why are they apposing elements and why is there the anubis that is creature with that duo lol.  I see them more as allies than opposites, personally if I were the dev I would have made it :gravity vs :aether (matter vs non-matter) and :time vs :entropy (order vs chaos)

I believe, if you want a mass buff for Time, something like this would be better and more fitting:

Hasten Time | Hasten Time (can be anything, really.. Break Time? :P )
Cost 4-5 time unupped, 3-4 upped
All (Time) creatures attack twice this round.

Time is in brackets because it might be better to have creatures of all elements hastened. You could play around with the quanta cost and the length too, if you wanted to.
Just an idea. :) Would keep Dune Scorp (which seems to be the main argument here) becoming a mono deck.

(This comment is part of Option II - Phase 1 Time Trial)

Without doubt one of my favorites Time cards in crucible.

As I saw during masters battles in these trials, in my opinion Time is missing some good cards; a mono-time deck without Devonian/Silurian Dragon for example has little chances vs other element, expecially those with good CC.

This is because one of best Time card, Dune Scorpion, is useless in a mono-time deck, and other time creature are either too weak (like déjà vu) or too expensive (like pharaoh); with this card we can use Dune Scorpions in a mono-time deck at last!

Clearly inspired by darkness card Nightfall/Eclipse, this card is balanced as cost, and it’s based, rather strengthens the already proven time-aether synergy. A time/aether duo deck with dune scorpions, Anubis and this one, for example, could be really a hard deck to counter.

I like really much that bonuses are not stackable, this would have made this card heavily OP; and I found it very clever how it was resolved (avoided) the question of a possible use (or better…abuse) of a fractal Spark/Ball Lightning.

For those who fear a fractal dune scorpions + this card, I remember two things: permafrost and jade shield.
In conclusion, I sincerely hope that one day we can all find this card in the game, which no doubt would be a great improvement for the Time element.

thanks man, i really appreciate your support.  unfortunately with less than a handful of votes it looks like this may be headed for the archive in the near future if it isnt adopted by the grace of the masses.

Hey moomoose, if you can, could you reupload the upped image for the card on a more stable image-sharing site? Your lack of votes -could- possibly be based on the fact that you don't have two card images side-by-side in the Crucible... ^^;;; Thanks.

Would a spell costing 4 :time  that converted poison into neurotoxin be balanced? I think so.
How would that be balanced?  It doesn't seem to put the caster of the spell at much of a disadvantage, while neurotoxin increases the incidence rate of the poison.

Wow a long time ago I made a gut judgement.
What was I thinking.
I mean true it requires poison to already exist probably in the form of poison [2 :death +1draw] and then the poison->neurotoxin card [4 :time +1draw]. Even with duo combos being worth the total +1 that would only cost 7quanta +2draws. Dune scorpion costs much more at [3 :time +1draw] plus blessing [3 :light +1draw] for a total of 7quanta +2 draws for the same effect +3 damage per turn -1 poison +1 poison per turn. What was I thinking. Obviously the spell is OP because it costs exactly the same as Dune Scorpion + Blessing. Wait huh? That would indicate it was balanced right? Hence in my confusion I added "I think so." at the end indicating I was not sure but that it did make sense to be true.

i think this should be a  :aether card.

:aether :time and :death :darkness are both good duos

dune scorpian and  death stalker used to be slightly unbalanced becous of night fall.
this would rectify that

I said the exact same thing before, but I understand it now.  The thing we didn't understand is what :gravity really is.  :gravity is order AND gravity, not just gravity.  This makes it opposed to chaos.  Time is simply time.

Colored word is incorrect.
Order and Order are spelled the same.
One means law and is the opposite of chaos
One means arranged and is the opposite of entropy (physics term)

Gravity in ETG is the second order and is opposed to entropy not chaos. (heat death is statistically perfectly uniform)
