How would this affect shields/weapons?  I like the general idea of lobotomy for permanents, but it's difficult to execute.  This is one of the better ones, regardless of name/series.

Shields retain any DR they had, but shields with abilities like Procrastination and Fire Shield will lose their abilities. I think shields that have a miss chance like Fog Shield will also lose their miss chance if that counts as an ability. Unsure about Phase Shield and Wings though - I was thinking that they wouldn't lose the Phase effect like DR shields.

Huh. I thought it was active since Fire Shield has "firewall" on it when it is played in the shield slot.

I'm rather confused also, but according to the wiki, it seems that abilities labeled "Shield" and "Weapon" (deal n damage at the end of each turn) are considered passive, while any secondary weapon abilities are considered active. Immateriality in particular is considered active when labeled "immaterial" on Morning Glory, but passive when "cannot be stolen or destroyed" appears on Jade Shield and Mirror Shield.

just saying, since this is a series, they should all look like eachother with the exception of it being designed also in the element it is in.  maybe it should kinda be something like frost? where it freezes it and every time it gets targeted by frost when frozen, it will lose 3-l1- and if water unit, will only lose 2-l0-? just a suggestion.    I know it isn't my card, but it is my input. I know the frost might be off balance, but the only thing I think of this card that there isn't a stick figure in this ones image, and that the ability is not buffed enough. kinda like luciferin, with its exceptions.
