You should put an "Other, please specify" option in the poll, just incase.

Out of those threee, it fits Aether the most because of the silence card, it would go excellently with it.

one question: is the spell meant to target a creature? or the entire field?

Although i don't like it, Aether is the closest. And the reason I don't like it, is because it's the only counter to Immaterial, am I right? And Immaterial is part of, you guessed it, Aether.

The realm of Aether is constantly under an unnatural, unearthly status, I can't say I understand why it's even a choice.  This card screams  :light to me when thought of as representing purity.  Darkness would be my second choice, as darkness is the absence of something (in this case, abilities).
