How about make it "Gain 2 life whenever the opponent draw a card by Permanent means." It's awkwardly phrased, but I think the meaning gets across.
It is the greatest mystery of all...
Rutarete: Roo tah reh teh
[22:50] <Jyi> meaning gets lost in translation... even in the same language.

How about this?

Unupped
You gain 2 life every time an extra card is drawn.

Upped
Opponent loses 2 life every time an extra card is drawn.

So no life added/taken during initial draw. But it you use a deck that draws extra cards or you are playing some FG's that do, you have a way to either deal extra damage to them or gain life for yourself.

I perfer the existing version, that works whenever a card is drawn period. The limited version that only punishes extra draws will not be useful against most decks.

I would want it to be cumulative but obviously I want the card to be as functional as possible. A card that can either help you or hurt them based on the drawing of cards.

CURATOR COMMENT
-You need to modify the TEXT in your tables so that it matches the card description (or otherwise upload new images that match the text). It should be read as: "Every time opponent draws a cards, you gain 2 life.
-*Please do not rely on the staff to change the tables for you.

* = Important to note.

This reminds me of a couple of (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18896.0.html) ideas (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18896.msg399596#msg399596) that involve having a special effect trigger (like gaining HP) when someone draws a card, but aside from that, it's a decent permanent that relies more on the opponent's draw rate that your own (obviously suiting :aether). :)

Seeing that heals around the same as the new SoG (assuming 2 draws), and that everybody hates SoG, I'd raise the cost. This will be a nice addition to  :aether:D
