Sounds alright as long as moomoose decides to forget about the idea with the shields. That'd render the creature useless.

turtle shield would act the same as fire shield, essentially.  ice shield would only make it go into stasis when the freeze effect was triggered.  shields like wings, phase shield, bonewall or earth shield would not trigger the effect of the turtle.

Shied effects are not spells. Not sure why would you want them to count as spells.
But, if we forget about shields... how do you kill/remove Turtle? Lightning, Shockwave, RoF, Rage, Rewind, Bolts... all are just tickling the Turtle that also has access to Armor. Its a super strong creature against tons of decks, and damage/cost is relatively decent.

This basic inability to kill it is why I said that it's ability should more or less be looked at like immortality.

wrong. i spelled out an example of this one page 1.

"Shied effects are not spells. Not sure why would you want them to count as spells.

access to armor? how do you figure? it would take damage if you tried to cast plate armor on him, and not get the +hp at all.

Aye, you cant cast armor on it. Still, the question stands: how do you remove it from the field? How do you stop it? As QT said, its almost like an immortality, and for such status, damage/cost is high.

The difference between this and immortality is - owner cant target immortal creatures, this one he can, but obviously wont. Opponent cant target immortal creatures, this one he can, but most likely wont, as no one wants to waste 5 CC cards to kill a single creature. Mass CC maybe, but 5 mass CC cards are super rare sight in one deck.
Am I missing something?

how?
1) creatures with abilities (hell you could cast web on it, as non-flying creatures can be targeted by web, even if it wouldnt do anything to them)
2) shields
3) aoe spells

and remember this creature is stunned after being targeted, immortal creatures dont get stunned unless turtle shield is involved

I think the turtle should be renamed, I mean because mechanically speaking, I don't think a turtle will have that strong of a attack.
