IDEA:
moomoose
NOTES:
The idea is that the turtle is protected from spells by its shell, but at the cost of 1hp each time targeted by *any* spell, even potential buffs or utilities such as fractal or nightmare, and goes into hiding for 1 turn.  the atk may seem high, but i wanted to take into account how many turns it would spend not attacking if it were to come across a shield with a spell effect related to it before the turtle's almost certain demise.

That includes booster spells, so it's fair. Not being able to bless it is a pain.

Right now, by the games definition of "target," shields wouldn't affect it.

With that in mind, I think its attack is slightly high. When you compare with immortal (the card that it's closest in function to), the unupped one as 1 more attack and costs 1 less, while the upped one has 2 more attack and costs 2 less.

I would lower the attack on both by 1.

i'll find a way to phrase it other than targeted, then.  as i want the turtle to hide in its shell if it is going up a fire wall or thorns.

the only way i know to prevent damage is to burrow and make attack zero. this is a type of hiding

stasis essentially makes the attack zero.  the ability of the turtle steps in before the damage is done from the spell.

heres an example of what im talking about
turn 1 turtle attacks and does 5 damage
turn 2 turtle attacks and doest 5 damage, fire shield is out so turtle burrows and goes into stasis, loses 1 health (not 2)
turn 3 turtle is burrowed and in stasis
turn 4 turtle is unburrowed, out of stasis, attacks and does 5 damage, goes into stasis/burrow/-1hp (now at 3hp)
etc

or it could have been targeted by a firebolt or whatever

If the ability steps in before the damage, then he won't do anything against the damaging shields, because both the creature damage and the shield damage are simultaneous.

Also, how does it interact with turtle shield and ice shield?
