hi, thanks for replying, sorry it wasn't proper trolling lol.

Yes, it works like dive, once the Troll has charged (and crashed, kinda thing) it's back to 4|8.

It beats cocktrice in terms of being more resistance (for possibly less attack). However, it has far more chances to get buffed in such a way as to be superior. having a creature with slightly less attack but more HP has it's reasons for decks, even without the charge ability.
As much as 2|10 may be preferred, it just doesn't sound right for a creature like this...

Perhaps it needs another small Troll-related buff? Resilience/troll blood/troll skin: all damage done to troll is reduced by 1?
thematically fits imo, but it's just adding yet more mechanics to the card which I'm not really a fan of....but if everyone says so I will.

How about changing the ability to  :earth? Trolls are made from rocks and are very connected to the earth, so I think it would fit thematically. Also, troll + heavy armor + charge would be more viable. Right now, it would take a trio deck to pull off the combo.

I agree with keeping the stats 4|8, and if the ability is changed to earth maybe 4|7.

The biggest problem I see is that any CC that doesn't kill reduces the effectiveness of charge, so that may call for a small buff in HP.

Interesting, i can only think of chaos seed power, bless and heavy armor (BB? really?) Also bless and chaos seed works just as well for other creatures in terms of buffing.

Fair enough. Just putting it out there though, as it currently stands I see no place for it in mono life decks and rainbows either... probably some duo/trio deck involving earth/grav (cuz of heavy arm)... just imo though...

Um... I agree with you that not adding more mechanics is ideal. Think the general idea is to not make things too complicated. One  ability per creature is enough ^^.

*troll* *insert random joke about trolling*

Like this card! :D
But I don't like how you could BB+Adrenaline this, so I say the ability shouldn't be Earth. Imagine BBing Adrened Trolls all over... Pure madness.

im not a huge fan of the physics surrounding this card. imo, it would be more balanced if you ditched the one turn effect of it. i mean, look at graboid. that thing cubes it's strength with no consiquence (other than being vulnerable). this thing is just too week imo. ditch either the delay effect or the one turn effect and i think it might work better. but that is just my opinion.

so two things I see:

1. it needs a little something to make people actually want it in game.

2. The easiest option is to get rid of the 1 turn delay? Perhaps the stat change could happen for a full turn, so opponent has one chance to hit a 'weaker' creature? I forsee that you'd hit high each round so it might as well have been an 8|4 creature in the first place though...?

In general though I'm glad there's interest in this card, speaks well for it, and once we have a more satisfactory card then that'll be ace (where were you guys when I posted this in the smithy? lol) :)

Gravity effect called "Charge" should give momentum for the turn IMO

It would be OP. HP has less value than atk (look at Massive Dragon), and the fact that this can have Adrenaline in a mono (so bye delay) balances it. Swapping hp for atk MUST have a drawback, and the delay seems to be the way to go.

I agree.

ah ha! that is perhaps exactly the kind of small buff this creature needs, thank you!

will update when I have more time, thanks for feedback everyone (and should you think of something better before I update, please go for it!) :)

Momentum!yes!

It should be semi-vanilla.
Without any active ability.
