ART: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triffid with help from MS office PP IDEA: dawn to dusk NOTES: inspiration came from the book 'The Day of the Triffids'. it is an old book but it was re-released for its 50th aniversary. ive been reading it recently and so far its pretty good. i wont go into full detail about the book but basically, a triffid is a 7 ft tall plant that can walk and kill a human in an instant. But for something that can kill most creatures in the game, I think it might be a bit too cheap.

what if the cost for the ability went from 1 to 2 ?

what about, rather than instantly killing, giving poison counters equal to the creature's hp?
thematically that would fit better...

It's obviously a nerf;
it may get a lower cost or higher hp to compensate.

attacks should be 3|5. and keep the HP as low as possible, because an Otyugh's HP can be lowered (bad for devour), but an attack power can't be, so it must be suspectible to CC.

Antimatter for a sole counter is not enough.

I'd reduce the attack to 3|5 or 2|4 so this is on the same power level as Otyugh. Making it poisonous (poison if eaten) would also be a nice thematic touch.

Definitely a good twist on game mechanics and also a pretty interesting idea for a Life CC card.  Looks relatively balanced to me as well.
