1) 20hp is usually excessive for a non Gravity Creature
2) Interesting take on Gravity Pull including using a Duo (and upgraded only) to try to balance it.
3) Thank you for the slow introduction of your series instead of flooding the smithy.
The stats of the upped version should decrease. After all its ability is to deal 7+ damage as of now. With lower stats a defensive application would be a viable alternative to the offensive.
I had originally planned to have a defensively oriented god (passive) and the upped one as an offensive side (angry), but half-way through I thought, "how can it be gravity pulled if it keeps removing it?" and so I added the new ability to the upped one and said, "yeah, this works." Anyway, I think I'll just focus on defense and lower the upped one's attack.
Furthermore, with Thoth being a god and all, I thought he should be able to grow and shrink at will. Plus, how low should a defensively oriented creature's HP can be without diminishing its defensive capabilities?
I also find this an interesting card for / duos, gravity pull would be one of them, but possibly acceleration would be interesting with this too. Both cards appear balanced, although I'm not exaclty sure how lethal the upped's ability is.
Lethal as in being able to kill one creature a turn at will? It seems slow enough...
Actually, I think it strengthens a
trio while still imposing a high quanta need
