One thing I notice is that this card has a reasonable synergy with Flooding (less slots for both of you, which you obviously don't care about). This is great, as it brings Flooding into even more prominence. Can anyone see a water stall with these things, because I can. :)

As much as i'd like to make Flooding more useful, i'm afraid you might dislike said reworked version, but let me know.

hmmm. new version is definitely a different beasty altogether. Still fits its name pretty well though.
All in all it seems to be a pretty good card... Although if both players have copies, life will be interesting

Mutant is a passive skill
Overdrive is an active skill
Neither is a status effect
Positive effects would include both skills and status effects
Would vampire be passed on? If so what if overdrive and vampire were being passed on?

If both players have copies, it will be a challenge of timing to get the most out of each The One, should be interesting.

I will reword it accordingly in the OP then.

Vampire would be passed on yeah. Since one given creature cannot have both (unless i'm horribly mistaken), the previous The One would only have either Vampire or Overdrive, so whatever he has would be passed on.

Passing skills on would be possible simply because the effect of passing on happens upon casting the card "The One", but the creature resulting from it has no abilities or passives whatsoever (other than airborne).

Good idea, but as far as countering goes, even a simple RT/BB/mutation would suffice. Unless they Quint it.

I'm going to put it in crucible soon, any more feedback before?
