why does it cost so much more for the upped when it only gets +1/+1? should be 2/3 for cost since compared to fire spirit (which is 0/2 for 2) it is oped, even if it growths instead of ablaze and uses different mana

Growth is +2/+2.

The upgrade still doesn't seem good enough to cost 1500 electrum.
Maybe make the unupgraded card cost 2 quanta so there is more of an advantage.

As noted, the upped version is good because it's the only Growth creature that starts outside of Firestorm/Eagle's Eye range.  IDK if that's enough, maybe it should be 1/5 so it can't be Devoured, either?

no i think its a good card as is, but i dont see my unity between darkness and air right now...

I know growth is +2/+2, what I meant is that the difference between upped and unnupped is only 1/1 for 2 manas but it seems like it would be good if cost was 2/3

- You are paying so much more for the Upgraded version because it is out of the range of firestorm when its likely you will have a nightfall or eclipse in play and keep the bats out of range anyhow. Are you sure the cost is justified?

- It is a Swarm of Bats but it only leaves 1 creature on the field. Did you consider it spawning individual bats instead?

I see the cost as fair for just that reason.  Nobody will be able to touch it once eclipse is in place.  A 3/5 creature with growth capability for 3 is probably a fair price in my estimation (maybe too low even.)

No--no more creature spammers, please!   This is a growth creature after all.  If you're going to go duo then pests are likely in the deck to support quanta and so there's going to be creature crowding already.

Its a bit too boring as it is now for me. Maybe add some kind of passive ability called "Rabies"?

Other growth creatures make sense like Forest Spirit getting to grow.

On that note, then maybe  might make more sense because bats feed off of fruits and insects.
