Submerge | Improved Submerge

Do  creatures naturally submerge? Does it apply to ALL creatures or a certain type?

Water creatures do not naturally submerge. This card targets any water creature, and that creature is submerged.

It would be nice if you could target non-water critters on your side of the field to kill them.

Could you thoroughly explain what "submerged" means? I'm having trouble understanding exactly what would affect a submerged creature and what wouldn't. Is it similar to being cloaked? Any status effects given to monster?

Being submerged = being cloaked.

If your opponent's creature is submerged, you cannot see it. So, if you tried to use a CC card like Lightning on it, you couldn't, because you cannot see it (and therefore you cannot target it). However, mass CC like Plague or Fire storm will affect Submerged creatures.
