3) Don't really understand this point. Are you saying that the upped version is not good enough compared to the unupped version?
Yes, the upgraded might be worse than the unupped.
I was afraid of that. Because of the way charge works. the upgraded card doesnt do better spell damage. so i can only mess around with how much the skill and card costs. any suggestions on how to better balance the cost oldtrees?
Make the unupped and upped have the same attack? Perhaps 3 spell damage as their base attack?

oh ho. woops. thats a typo, i was changing that late last night. they should have the same attack. my bad. check it again in a sec.

edit:
right now they both do 4 normal damage each turn. you need to charge it with aether to do spell damage. that what i wrote on the card before i fell asleep. if you think it should do spell damage with its normal attack. you should explain your reasoning to me. :)

4 normal damage works too.

Hasn't received very much critique from many members, but it feels like a pretty solid idea by now.
If you believe so, post here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16154.0.html

also any artwork that you think would be better than my chicken scratch would be appreciated.
I know that this is the second post on a four-page thread, but if you are still looking for a picture, here's an image that I found at http://www.sxc.hu/photo/768338 and edited into this:

This took all of ten seconds (at most), so if you don't want to use it, I won't be very offended.

It's a recolored Tesla Coil designed to fit into an Air card.  I left a little pink around the edges because it feels more stormy.
This thing seemed dead inside. It seemed like an automaton, trying to act like as if it was alive. The effect was unsettling.
Orianna made a sound that supposed to a girl's squeal of glee and hugged The Ball. While it might have been touching, it was unfortunately only horrifying.

^ Looks way to flashy for me. Hurts my eye in my opinion :P

Found this in what looked like a dead deviantart page: http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs16/f/2007/182/f/2/Lightning_Ball_by_nikokapo.png
EDIT: Looking at this picture again, this also looks kinda flashy -.-
