If I destroy this permanent, does it simply remove one 'counter', like Bone Wall? Or does it remove the card completely?


I'm kind of iffy about this card; on one hand, it can help people fight False Gods a lot easier by dropping their maximum health to 100, but at the same time because of that, there could be something else that would exploit this mechanic repeatedly aside from fractal Sparks. It fits the Death theme perfectly nonetheless. :)

Perhaps you should/could reduce max health based on the (relative/proportional) number of counters you have? This way, Miracle can't screw you over when you're getting your opponent to low health.

Fixed the comments required to enter the Crucible, I believe.

If the perm is destroyed, all counters go the way of the dinosaurs.

I don't think the card would lend itself to a FG killer easily and a fractal spark deck, with or without this card, is doomed against FGs, imo.

I'm not sure I get your Miracle comment as the effect halves both current and max health.

Lol, so 10 ball lightnings to set this off, (now at 50 hp), and then reduce to 25 with a max of 50. One more fractal = win :D
