Is the increase static or does it stack with each block... The latter would definitely warrant a higher cost.
Also, will this increase count towards the crusader ability when used? I.e. would using a imbue with dagger + this give +4 to the crusader instead of +2?

I assume it means that the shield blocks 1 and just increases 1|2 damage for your weapon. I do like the card, can cause some very nice combos, but why is it in :darkness? Also, how does it increase the damage with your weapon? Does it make you more aggressive or something? Thirdly, only 2: darkness for a 1 dr shield and +1|2 weapon damage? I feel it should be more.

If it's attacking with your shield, then the attack does not add on to the weapon. While the difference looks minute, it's actually quite different. A shield attack and an increase in attack of a weapon means dr shields will take place twice, and extra damage for your weapon (like vampire dagger) is much better than extra damage for your shield.

this is true, but it is also what i was going for.  there is flavor and there is mechanics, and i am indeed going for increasing damage of the weapon with its intended advantages over just bashing with your shield.  maybe call it that, trying to avoid getting poked by the shield makes it easier to hit more precisely with the weapon?

Just my 2  :electrum but for some reason it just seems to fit better under  :earth . Like sharp stone or metal spikes.

I like the synergy with Vampiric Dagger...
The extra damage would heal you for one extra point.  Yay!

ehhh not really, i mean, a darkness elemental is far more likely to use something this underhanded than an earth one.

How this card work alongside multiple weapons? (classic flying weapon decks) would it affect them all with its bonus (like with eclipse?)

Or its simple a shield that also does damage each turn like a weapon? (it could look weird but there is nothing that stops it)

i had not thought of flying weapon... ill say it only affects the weapon you are holding.
