Woah there, OP alert of epic proportions. Rain of Fire does 3 damage to all creatures for 7/5 - this does 5 damage to all creatures for 6/5 - THAT alone is OP. Even worse, you get a super-Graveyard effect built right in - and there are a ton of creatures that have less than 5 health. And these aren't your every day Skeletons, people. These are massive 3/3 Light-Generators...ohhhh boy.

Lol.. i figured someone would say its OP. That's why i made it so both players get a creature. would it balance more if for X creatures that die both players get X Souls put on the field? lower damage amount or increase cost? or both?

The Soul part is only half of the problem. The mass CC is a bit problematic. Granted, it hits both sides. However, both Aether and Earth have methods of completely ignoring that.

Maybe you can change the first part - the second part, with a balanced first part, can be pretty balanced. Actually, maybe less damage could do the trick.

Not bad at all. I'd change it to X/2, though.
then it wouldnt make sense. it is called soul release.. so each creature's soul is released.. if it was X/2.. then only half rounded up/down w/e it is.. would have a soul.. and that wouldnt make sense. unless a darkness card.. were made.. which removed a soul from target creature.. which would then add 1 thing to every creature info in game.. too much work.

Urh, not all creature's souls can be released? Actually, since both sides get one copy per creature, it would make sense.,

The way right now doesn't appeal to me much. Too much clogging and such.

Firstly, you must remember it one soul goes to each side per creature. So by splitting in half, it's also more realistic. Half of the souls go to your side, half of them go to your opponent's side. Simple as that.

And I AM the masses. Besides Ratchet, I'm the only one that is commenting on your thread. :))
