okay getting complicated here but if a card was implented that changed all cards of ........ to darkness then this+eclipse would = 2 attack which would make it affected by the 2 shields :D

Because a Curator is a member of the 13 Immortal souls?

It is actually a definition of its Physical mass. Its' flesh is like living Mercury dense and resilient but becuse of its most Immaterial nature its body will never be tested. If in the future Immaterial could be removed it will be needed then. The basic has 3 from defense and +3 attack because lesser Curator are aren't as controlled. This makes them prone to all effect shields.
