NOTES:
Currently, fire is a very destructive element. However, fire can also be a constructive force as well, providing light and warmth.
This card seeks to explore and develop that thematic connection.

Since there are no unupped fire producing creatures, this card can be used to give creatures that ability. It is limited to ally creatures to prevent lobotomization abuse.

The upped version develops the connection with light production by giving all :fire producers a chance to also produce :light . The chance to produce will be stackable as 25% + 15% for each additional card. I.e.
25%, 40%, 55%, 70%, 85%, 100% (so with six stacks :fire produces will produce both :fire and :light each turn).
Also, any :fire producers that produce :light due to this effect will be also counted as :light producers for the purpose of other spells and effects (e.g. hope shield)

Lastly, the unupped version must be activated to provide the healing effect but the amount healed is based on stacksize, whereas the upped version is automatic but will not stack (provides a fixed 2 healing each)

I like this.  Reminds me a lot of firefly, and even synergizes accordingly with the upgrades.  It's also a cool theme.  It does sort of overshadow empathic bond, but it adds quite a twist.

I like this card as well. It is not too powerful, since fire creatures never have high health to begin with (and can therefore be killed by most CC methods), so it takes a good balanced deck to make the healing worth it. Love the synergy with the light production and Seraph as well, and since the chance of it producing light is not that high to begin with, it is not too powerful.

How exactly does it work with the unupped version with the heal? An example would be helpful :)

So suppose you had 3 of these in play (unupped).
You would activate the ability and then all your :fire producing creatures would provide 1 point of healing to you and any creatures that are in a slot next to them.
E.g. if you had 5 fire producers you would heal 3*5=15 points.
(note: you could always click cancel if you only want the healing but dont want to overwrite an existing ability with fire production)

This differes from upped version in 2 ways.
1) it has to be activated each turn to get the healing effect
2) it stacks (so the upped version would be providing 2 healing per fire producer regardless of stack size)

This should encourage people to use both upped and unupped versions in their decks.
The mixture will depend on whether they are after just raw healing or light production and healing.

Ya, if you get enough of these in play they could overshadow empathic bond a little bit, but it would at least take several turns to get "fire" spammed to all your creatures to do so. Hopefully that will keep it in a sufficiently different niche.
