NAME:
Sonic Blast
ELEMENT:
Earth
COST:

TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:
TEXT:
Halves the HP of all creatures on the field, rounding down. Does not affect frozen or delayed creatures.
ART:
Jacob Philpott (Ajit)
IDEA:
Ajit
NOTES:
HP of creatures are halved rounded down to the nearest whole number. Ex) A creature with 3 HP will have 1 HP after use. Can kill creatures (half of 1 rounded up is 0).
Changes -
1. Changed the details to where HP is rounded down to the nearest whole number.
2. The card is now an Earth elemental.
3. Added the stipulation that it does not affect frozen and delayed creatures to prevent a Voodoo Doll/Basilisk Blood abuse.

Hmm, I'm not sure how useful this would be, because it won't ever actually kill anything. You might be able to combine it with other CC, but it seems that the other CC would probably be better if you just used more of it.

Ah yes I see what you mean! Maybe it should round down numbers instead of rounding up then?

I just have to agree with QuantumT here, nothing else to say: this would especially be strong against creatures with 1 health point and those with more than 5 health points, in case of bigger creatures only in combination with other CC like RoF.

OK I reworked it now to where it rounds down, effectively killing those with 1hp left.

Pretty epic with Pandemonium, actually. Not entirely sure how sonic force fits Entropy, but I guess we already have Shockwave in Air.

Yeah, why is this in entropy? Sonic effects are air related, unless you change the mechanism into randomness.

Ah yes. I suppose I didn't fully comprehend Entropy at the time. I feel like Air with Thunderstorm and Shockwave doesn't need another one of those types of cards (what are those things called? CC's or something?). Perhaps ground? It compliments them because those that are burrowed won't be affected.

I like all your arts so far - it's very clean. Did you create it from scratch or edited it from some source?
OK, random thoughts - how about the card randomly choose from these 2 things: (1) reduce HP equal to its attack -1; or (2) increase attack equal to its HP +1. Though for some reason I feel that it has been done before but I'm not so sure.

Thanks suxerz, on this one I made the waves themselves from scratch and the faded clouds in the background I got a from a brush pack.
Thanks for the ideas.
