I'd very much approve of it being usable multiple times like rustler. Otherwise, it's just an average creature with a gimmicky but not very useful skill.

I like it a lot, and it could work really well in a fire/earth deck, especially paired with lava golems.

A strong, fire-generating Rustler?  I don't like that in the least.  At least, not a current costs.  Considering how much Earth decks generate over a few turns, maybe make the ability cost  :earth :earth ?

Rustlers generate 2 quanta for the cost of 1.
This generates 1 quanta for the cost of 1. I think it's fine.
